We had a lovely peaceful stay.
We had a lovely peaceful stay. The cottage is cosy, warm and well equipped. Near to Chard for stocking up, although enjoyed visiting other nearby places. We did our usual visit to the Donkey Sanctuary, would highly recommend. When staying here you just need to bring yourselves and food, and then relax. We hope to revisit soon.

Beautiful little cottage with everything you need. Lovely location and the host even popped over to check we were having a nice time. He also advised us on some beautiful dog walks. We would recommend this cottage 100% and are already planning our next stay when visiting family in the area. What a beautiful and comfortable cottage - very well equipped - a hair dryer in each bedroom AND a TV in each! The cottage is large and each bedroom had a bathroom, one ensuite and one next door.
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning area. Host was so friendly and gave us tips on where to walk our two little dogs. Cottage had everything you needed. Didn’t want to come home. Would definitely recommend and will book again 100%.
A really lovely few days in a beautiful part of England. The property was really comfortable and well equipped. The large secure back garden makes it perfect for dogs and there are some brilliant walks to be done! The owners were very helpful and communication with them was easy. Would definitely return for another stay!

Lovely thatched cottage, everything on hand and well equipped.
Lovely thatched cottage, everything on hand and well equipped. Beds not as comfortable as at home but adequate. As others have said, the next door neighbours were very noisy but only when they were awake and we got used to it. The garden was great for the dog but as we'd had an awful lot of rain we decided to not let him loose so as to not damage the grass too much. The roads are not great around the local area and the weather meant a lot of flooding hiding potholes, not a lot of traffic though. No reason for us not to go back.

We spent a couple of weeks here.
We spent a couple of weeks here. The location is relatively remote but peaceful and the garden is tranquil and spacious - sadly the weather was so bad we got little enjoyment out of it. The kitchen is moderately well equipped but more suited to heating things up than actually cooking anything from scratch. It's a personal thing but we didn't find the bed and pillows at all comfortable but of course others may. All told a decent stay but not one we loved.

We stayed at the cottage during stormy November weather and it was cosy and warm. The garden was safe and secure for our two small dogs to explore unsupervised while we were in the cottage. The countryside around the cottage had plenty of interesting walks and Lyme Regis was less then half an hours drive away. A great base for exploring with a well equipped kitchen to prepare dinner in on our return after a day out and about.

Two Bridge Cottage is such a great place to stay, whether you're a couple, a family or a small group
Two Bridge Cottage is such a great place to stay, whether you're a couple, a family or a small group. We went as three adults and two dogs in August. The huge garden was ideal for them to run around. As soon as you close the gate at the front, it's secure and spacious. The garden is also a sun trap meaning it's perfect for sitting outside - it's very peaceful and really nice to get back in touch with nature. We even had the cows and sheep come to visit us at the wall at the very end of the garden, as well as being greeted by horses as we walked through the local fields! Inside, everything was clean and tidy, with nothing that hadn't been thought of. From the little treats Ann & Nic left to all of the utensils, towels, bedding, instruction manuals and cute little touches in the bedrooms, there was everything you could possibly need for a self-catering stay. They even bought a brand new frying pan for us to use. The bathrooms were my favourite part of the cottage - an incredible bath and shower with lovely lighting that made it a very relaxing place to unwind in the evenings after a day of walking and a few visits to local beaches (such as Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth). It was wonderful to meet our very friendly hosts who live right by the cottage too. There are some narrow lanes getting to the property but you soon get used to those. Oh and of course, the most important thing... WiFi worked well! We are definitely planning on going back to stay here as it felt very homely.

The cottage is amazing and the owners although live next door do not interfere at all infact we left not actually knowing what they look like which was perfect for us as we felt we could relax. Our dog couldn't have enjoyed the gorgeous garden anymore and it was totally safe for him to explore freely. We are going for a week next year for sure as the main thing for us is the secure garden for our dog and we got that and more. See you next year! Thank you ❤ Xxx
