We booked the cottage for a get-together with friends, we were looking for a comfortable base near to Hay on Wye. The cottage is very well equipped with everything that we needed and we appreciated the lovely sponge cake that was awaiting our arrival. Hay on Wye is a 15 minute walk away and boasts many attractions, books of course but the more adventurous could try canoeing there. We would have appreciated WiFi in the property, although we had good mobile phone signals. Although the house was warm and cosy the large fireplace would have welcomed a fire or stove to add to the effect. A great place, we would be happy to go back again

Overall very good.
Overall very good. The hosts made us very welcome and especially the children. This was enhanced by the presence of pregnant sheep giving birth to lambs.
