Lovely cottage in wonderful peaceful surroundings.
Lovely cottage in wonderful peaceful surroundings. The cottage is well equipped, the hot tub an excellent addition and works perfectly. Ideal for dog owners as the back garden very secure. The cottage could do with a few updates and finishing touches but did not affect our stay in the slightest. Nice local walks and amenities about 10 minutes drive away. Lots of other places to visit within half an hour such as Loch lomond and the ferries to the islands.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic week away at Little Arches.
My boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic week away at Little Arches.
After reading recent bad reviews, we did have some doubts. However, we phoned the owner Mary directly to ask some questions regarding the hot tub and she was more than helpful! The hot tub was in perfect working order during our stay. Yes, the lights on the hot tub weren’t working as mentioned in another review. However, there are outside lights on the cottage and these were more than enough light to enjoy the hot tub at night time.
In terms of cleanliness, we found the cottage to be absolutely spotless! Yes there are some little areas that require some updating and renewing but it did not affect the quality of our stay at all!
The location of this cottage is absolutely perfect. All week we enjoyed our long walks around the Castle Semple Loch. On our last day we bumped into a neighbouring farm owner who told us about the Reservoir up the road near their farm. I wish we’d known about this as when we drove up the road further to see this it was a beautiful walk with lovely views! A definite must to visit, especially with a dog.
Would 100% stay here again. Fantastic value for money!

Really lovely cottage, very cosy and private even though it is semi detached.
Really lovely cottage, very cosy and private even though it is semi detached. The hot tub was great and made the cottage really good value for money. We were lucky we had good weather which meant there was no need for a shelter for the hot tub, if it was raining this might have been an issue. There was no blankets or extra cushions which we missed but understand this was due to Covid - maybe a few could be offered and washed between parties leaving and arriving? Apart from this we had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Had a lovely week in this beautiful cottage.
Had a lovely week in this beautiful cottage. Total peace and quiet in the middle of the countryside, making it difficult to do anything but relax and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately the hot tub was too hot to use due to a fault with the controls which was disappointing but we were warned about this by the owner before we arrived.

Friendly owners, very helpful.
Friendly owners, very helpful. Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. We loved hearing the sheep in a morning, and even watched them getting moved fields! The garden is private and enclosed, so our dog could run freely until his heart was content! The cottage had everything we needed for our little getaway. The front door stuck in the heat, but when you lift it a little it locks. Would 100% recommend and visit again. 10/10

We stayed for a much needed short break, sadly the weather wasn't good enough for using the hot tub, but I guess it would have been a real bonus in December!!
The cottage was spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows lovely and comfy.
Added bonus was The Loch House just down the road, superb food!!

Lovely stable conversion on working sheep farm.
Lovely stable conversion on working sheep farm. Tasteful decor. Very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the hot tub.
Great location for us to visit family in and around Glasgow area. Lovely surrounding countryside. Would definitely return.
Only issue; couldn’t open bedroom window so was too warm and stuffy in bedroom even though weather not hot.
All in all had a lovely stay ?
