Stunning cottage in a magical, peaceful setting. The cottage is full of character, beautifully decorated and furnished, warm and cosy. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Rievaulx is a tiny hamlet, with just the Abbey Tea shop on hand, however the lovely Market town of Helmsley is just down the road. I had no phone signal but the WiFi was excellent. The location is perfect for visiting so many of Yorkshire's treasures and there are walks/trail runs from the door. The lack of lighting in the hamlet meant the stars were stunning at night and there are views of the Abbey ruins at the front. While the garden is not fenced, I had no problems with my pupster. The pictures just to not do this place justice, I cannot recommend it highly enough
