As part of a former period detached residence, the apartment is spacious, beautifully and tastefully furnished throughout, and benefits from off road parking for one car.
Buxton is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Peak District, most renowned for impressive architecture, magnificent buildings and of course, its spring water which you can try direct from the source itself at St. Ann’s Well. Home to a wonderful array of shops, restaurants, wine bars and even its own brewery, the spa town holds a full calendar of events including the Opera House, Pavilion Gardens and the Buxton Festival Fringe, which is a vibrant open arts festival, held annually every July. As this is the gateway to the Peak District National Park there’s good walking close by, including up to Solomon’s Temple which offers some spectacular views across the High Peak. This is a great base for exploring a number of pretty towns and villages within easy reach including Bakewell, 12½ miles away, which is home to the stunning properties of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton, 11 miles away, the fascinating plague village of Eyam, 13¾ miles and the start/end of the Pennine Way at Edale is 13 miles. From the moment we arrived in this luxurious apartment we knew we had chosen the right place to spend our Xmas break. The comfort and standard of everything was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome by the property owner which made all the difference. Would happily stay again.

Fantastic cosy holiday apartment had everything we needed loved the TV and watching Netflix, Great to have your own parking space as well. Very quiet as I think we were the only occupants in the building.
We had amazing weather and enjoyed many walks around the area and Buxton has lots of great places to eat and drink post walking!
Owner Sandra is friendly and provided clear instructions for arrival. Will definitely be recommending to people to visit. Thank you!

Lovely, comfortable, contemporary apartment located on the main road into Buxton. Easy walk into the centre, or you can pull on your hiking boots and go up to Solomon's Temple straight from the front door. Best of both worlds.

Very lovely apartment not far (walking distance) from Buxton centre. Cottage is very well equipped with a private parking space for us who made a booking. We had everything we needed. Bed was very good and bath and shower space were excellent. Just perfect location for us to explore the Peak District.
