A traditional detached cottage, in a lovely sunny elevated setting on the owner’s working arable farm.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for open fire included. Travel cot and highchair.. Large lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 500-acre grounds (shared with owner). 2 dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times around the farm. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a borehole.. With absolutely stunning views over the Vale of Strathmore, Clayhills Cottage is on a working arable and Christmas tree farm, accessed by a rough track, is surrounded by fields and looks out onto the Sidlaw Hills. Clayhills Cottage is on the same farm as The Bothy (UK33907). Tastefully and comfortably furnished, the cosy living room has a delightful open fire, ideal at any time of the year, and there is also a wet room.
Within a short drive is the popular market town of Blairgowrie, this is a great location for exploring these beautiful parts of Perthshire, which are renowned for its soft fruit growing. Keen walkers will enjoy the nearby Cateran Trail and there are numerous cycle routes criss-crossing the area. For golfers there are plenty of courses, including a championship course in Blairgowrie itself, as well as internationally famous Gleneagles, St Andrews and Carnoustie further afield. In winter the ski slopes at Glenshee are within easy reach and the cities of Perth, Dundee or Edinburgh make good days out. Cycling, fishing and tennis are nearby and excellent walking is available in the Angus Glens or explore the sandy beaches strung out along the east. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. This property can be booked together with The Bothy (UK33907) to accommodate up to 9 guests.
