Thank you for choosing our apartment for your holidays in the wonderful Algarve region. We hope you enjoy your stay with us and are ready to help you in any way possible to ensure your stay is enjoyable and memorable.
The AlgarveSalinas apartment is a 2.5 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a private balcony and a shared rooftop swimming pool, overseeing the UNESCO World Heritage Ria Formosa natural park.
Enjoy the luxury of a fully equipped spacious apartment, situated on the third floor and accessible by elevator or stairs. The apartment has a spacious lounge / diner, with two comfortable sofas, dining table for 6, wide screen TV Portuguese television and English channels, and broadband Wi-fi. Sliding double doors lead out onto the private balcony with wonderful views out to the Ria Formosa, and seating for 6.
The kitchen is well equipped and has all modern appliances including a microwave, dishwasher and washer-drier. The utility room has a rack for drying clothes and houses the central vacuuming unit.
Both the main bedroom and second bedroom can be a large double or twin, and have generous fitted wardrobes with remote interior light, bedside tables with lamps, and a dressing table with mirror over. The main bedroom is complete with an ensuite bathroom (shower over).
The single bedroom has a fitted wardrobe, a folding single bed and bedside table with lamp.
Useful information:
• Cost of taking a taxi from / to the airport is around 22 UK pounds / 25 euros
• Public transport (train, bus) to other locations and cities is at walking distance and relatively cheap
• Ferry to the coastal islands from the city harbor (cheap) or from the hotel (bit more expensive, 7 euros per head return trip) at walking distance
• Daily fish / groceries market (not on Sundays), supermarkets (Lidl, Continente), McDonalds and restaurants at walking distance

We spent a month staying here to get away from the UK weather in February. The apartment was exceptionally good. It was very well equipped and comfortable. This is a well presented property with a great view. Our only caveat was the lack of a small table and chairs in the kitchen and the sitting room needed a comfortable armchair. It was spotlessly clean.

Comfortable spacious flat with wonderful view

The flat was very well equipped and maintained. The situation made it easy to access the salt marshes and the restaurants and shops in Olhao. We watched flamingos flying overhead, found great cafes and visited the islands. The agency was helpful and responsive.

Fabulously located apartment in the Marina Village

We have stayed in Olhao several times and this aprtment was the best yet. It has great views out towards Faro affording amazing sunsets. The apartment is very well equipped, clean, comfortable and very close/easy parking. We hope to be back.

Great position overlooking Olhao Waterfront

The apartment has one of the best views in the Marina complex. The apartment is well fitted out and has the little things you need on arrival like tea coffee etc. Beds are very comfortable. Great place for a break in the sun.

Fantastic apartment and view

We stayed for a week in June. The apartment has a lovely view across the Ria Formosa. The balcony is spacious and comfortable to sit out on to enjoy the view. There is some road noise when on the balcony. The apartment is clean, well furnished and has absolutely everything to make a self catering holiday easy. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here and we will be back next year, so need I say more. All aspects of arranging, communicating and staying at this apartment have been very straightforward. It is perfectly located overlooking the Olhao saltpans with uninterrupted distant views of Faro affording some spectacular sunsets. The apartment is well-appointed and very spacious. You can't do better in the prestigious Marina Village complex. Highly recommended

All contact with the host and the charming lady who let us into the apartment was first class. Accommodation was spotless and has everything for a great stay. View out over the Ria Formosa was stunning, and you get to wake up with Flamingos opposite. Even when this old fossil managed to lock us out everything was sorted incredibly (big thank-you !!). Olhao centre is a few hundred yards up the the new promenade with lots of eateries, ferries to the islands and shops. Saturday fish and fruit market is a must to do.

Lovely spacious, clean and modern apartment, great location for a stroll into Olhao, along the sea front. Well equipped and the pool on the roof, clean and easy to use with fantastic views. Although we knew there was a road in front, it was a little busier than we thought, and would probably choose, but didn't really detract from the spectacular sunset over the salt flats! Would have been nice to have some sort of welcoming bottle of water, even local wine on our arrival, we had been waiting in Olhao all day until 4pm, and as it happened so had the lady who was letting us in, so if communication had been slightly better organised, it would have been nice to be in a bit earlier to suit everyone. Really enjoyed our stay in this excellent flat, the wheelie Rolsover trolley was so useful thanks! Weather was fantastic while we were there. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely location and great apartment

The apartment and its location is lovely. Every thing you need is within walking distance and we have eaten at really nice restaurants, bought fresh fish and veg at the lovely market. Worth a visit We have walked around the salt farms and seen flamingos . We have felt the lovely sun and also the lovely rain! That is not the fault of the apartment. Just the roll of the dice with weather. Asked by fellow brits staying for 3 months, who shared some good tips on restaurants. They asked would we come back. Yes. I am planning for a long weekend stay in October! Cold in the UK, but 20+ degrees here. Thank you
