About this property

Nearly new - built in May of 2016! (No Pets, No smoking, No teen or college groups.) 1st floor of a 2 unit duplex, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (sleeps 11). It is located in the heart of Ocean City, NJ, near the beach and boardwalk, restaurants, amusements, and shopping.

Please be aware that for this property, High School and College groups are not accepted. Tenant must be over 24 years of age and minors may not occupy the property unless an adult is present.

Additionally, Tenant supplies bed linens, towels, beach tags, baby furniture, paper products, soap products, hair dryer, and other personal items. Concierge services may be available in the area to supply some of these items at Tenant's cost.

The first floor rental unit has a great room with living room, a 55" TV, dining area with table seating 8. The island kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and 4 comfortable stools for the island seating.

Bedrooms: There are 10 steps to the bedroom section of the house. The 1st Primary Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bath with granite counter top and tile shower. Another bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed set, and flat screen TV. The 2nd Primary Bedroom also has a King size bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom with tile shower, this room accesses the rear deck, furnished with Adirondack chairs through a sliding door. The final bedroom which also accesses the rear deck, has a single bed with a trundle bed underneath and a set of bunk beds and a flat screen TV.

There is a large hall bath with double sink, granite vanity and a tub/shower. Also located in the bedroom hall area are front load washer (requires He detergent) and stacked front load dryer.

The front deck is furnished with a glass top table and 4 comfortable chairs plus two swivel chairs. There is an enclosed outdoor shower and a hose for after beach use. An inclosed garage holds one car and outside parking is available for another car.

Amenities include central air conditioning, dish washer, drip coffee pot and a single-cup "Keurig-type” coffee maker, toaster oven and 2 DVD players, gas grill (New in 2024), 4 beach chairs and beach toys, also Free Wifi is included.

Great summer stay- perfect location!

Wonderful Weekend

The house was great for the family and grandbabies. Close to the boardwalk and beach. One block from restaurants and across the street and walk down the alley to Boyers market.

We Love Ocean City

We had the best time at this property. The location was great. 1/12 blocks to the boardwalk and perfect area of the beach (not too crowded). Right in front of the lifeguards. The entrance to the boardwalk was right in the beginning of all the good stuff. The hosts were wonderful and we hope to stay again.

Great Beach Rental!

Perfect location to beach and boardwalk! A very roomy and spacious house with having four bedrooms and the 3 bathrooms was definitely a plus. Everything described in the listing is spot on! Very clean. Highly recommend this house!

Excellent location & very clean

The location is great - just 2 blocks from the beach and the property was very clean. The owner even let us in the garage a few hours early to get the beach chairs. The street was quiet too. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However... several things were broken when we got there. The upper bunk bed in the back bedroom was falling apart so bad that we didn't trust anyone to sleep on it. The grill needs a thorough cleaning and caught on fire when we used it because of the grease build up. One of the front porch chairs was broken as well. Hopefully these things can get fixed soon.

Great Stay

We very much enjoyed this house, the location was great. Close to the fishing pier end of the boardwalk felt like a less crowded area of beach. Has a charming front porch to relax at the end of day. Overall great experience and will look for this house next year.

Great house and great location!

Clean, well-equipped house. Loved the modern bathrooms and showers. The location was within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, ice cream shops and bakeries. The only cons were no beach cart or wine bottle opener.

Great long weekend getaway.

We have been going to the Fall Block Party forever. This is the first year we have gotten a place where everyone can stay together. The Blue Heron is a fantastic property. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Thank you so much Kaye for allowing us to stay at your property!!!

Parents 60th Anniversary

Although I didn't get to joined my family, my family enjoyed staying at the house. It was really nice, clean, modern and spacious. It is also close to the boardwalk and church which are a plus. I would recommend this place. and will book them again when we want to stay by the beach for a break.

From start to finish a lovely stay. A spotless home super close to the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of room and a kitchen that is perfect for a get together. Off street parking is a big plus.

Perfect Location

Staying at the Blue Heron was a special treat! This location has everything you need from a well stocked kitchen to great beds and furniture! Having the front and back porch lent itself to privacy if needed or quiet for reading. There were board games at the house that helped out greatly on a rainy day and plenty of beach chairs and toys. The house is located right in the heart of Ocean City but also far enough away to be able to retreat to your own space. Staying here makes you feel like a local. The owner Kay was very kind and responsive. We will absolutely return again!

Great stay and Blue Heron

We had a wonderful multi-generational family week in OCNJ in this fantastic property. Check-in was totally smooth, and the house was extremely clean when we arrived. The house is perfectly located - easy walks to the beach, the boardwalk, and all of the shops up and down Asbury. We could not have had a better location for all of the activities everyone in our group wanted to do. The spaces in the house are perfect for multiple families, and the two master setup was particularly convenient. The kitchen is very functional with everything you would need for cooking and eating, and the dining/living space is expansive and well-appointed. Both the front porch and back deck are large and perfect for relaxing outside. Kay is an excellent and very responsive host. She answered our few minor questions about the house in short order, and was super helpful. We will absolutely stay in this property again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in OCNJ.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great family vacation at the Blue Heron in July 2022. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children under 6. The house was a quick walk to the boardwalk & beach, and spacious for the whole family. The outdoor shower was perfect for washing off after the beach, and the front porch is where the adults spent most evenings. The fact that this house has two master suites made it perfect for our situation. We'll definitely be returning to this house the next time we vacation in Ocean City!
