We received a very warm welcome from Mel and John, who also run the nearby Ram pub - which is highly recommended. Lovely cottage for a couple and dog mini break - we plan to visit again 😀

The property and location are fabulous.
The property and location are fabulous. The property has everything you need for a very relaxing stay, spacious and exceptionally quiet. Great walks, and a very friendly neighbourhood. The Ram Inn, a wonderful local traditional pub serving great food. The log fire needs some attention as it's not drawing air.

This little cottage is absolutely gorgeous.
This little cottage is absolutely gorgeous. The photos really don't do it justice at all. Wood burning stove draws really well, so it's obviously been fixed after a previous review. Complimentary lemon drizzle cake, with some tea, coffee and hot chocolate sachets were waiting for us (along with some milk), which was VERY welcome.Towels are soft and clean, as was the bedding. The local pub was welcoming, especially to our dogs! Giving treats and water....they thought they were in heaven!Food is good too. We met with another couple, who are vegetarian and gluten free but this was no issue at all and all four plates were clean at the end of the meal. The shop is Tesco Express but is more than a half mile away (that must be as the crow flies) but the cottage was well placed for easy access to the surrounding Cotswalds. We will be back!
The cottage was all that we anticipated and situated in a very desirable area.
Ideal for walking in the countryside with our puppy.

Fabulous stay, lovely cottage, pub amazing and hosts were informative, generous and friendly.
Fabulous stay, lovely cottage, pub amazing and hosts were informative, generous and friendly. Wood burner great, stunning views and walks. Fantastic for dogs. It would be great if they could squeeze a washing machine/dryer (but that's being really fussy) facilities overall were great, including full sized fridge and freezer which was a must for us. Will definitely return!

Lovely cottage with a fairly small but beautiful dog friendly enclosed garden.
Lovely cottage with a fairly small but beautiful dog friendly enclosed garden. Quiet location with plenty of walks nearby but also very close to The Ram Inn which is dog friendly and serves good food. There is also a village shop and a Tesco Express nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cot.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Cot.
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Cot. It is comfortable and well located for touring The Cotswolds. We have booked a further visit for 2020 later in the year so we can see the Autumn Colours at their best. The Cot would have been perfection if it had had a washing machine. To stay for two weeks (as we did) it is necessary to have the option to wash our clothes at the cottage!!!
