About 10 minutes walking you will find the main shopping centre, with supermarket, food court and several shops. Both the beach and the historic centre are just five minutes away.



The Albufeira Marina is about 20 minutes walking distance, offering various boat trips, from visits to the natural caves of the limestone cliffs to dolphin watching excursions. For nightlife enthusiasts, the famous Strip is just a five-minute taxi ride away.

The apartment is excellent, very large and very comfortable, a nice mix of rustic Portugese with some modern features. Good air con in living room and bedroom which is a must. I would recommend this property without hesitation to anybody who doesn't have mobility issues. My wife and i are reasonably fit so no problems for us but the access to the apartment and many others on this site is via large stairwells (approx 50 steps) which cannot be avoided when leaving the complex and the same when returning. I was not made aware of any lifts in the complex. This should be made very clear in the advert (if it doesn't already?). Apart from that i would recommend and the stairs would not put me off renting this apartment again. Overall we had a fantastic time!!!

the description said that the property had air conditioning which it didn't also there wasn't any internet when we arrived and had to ask for it .it also said it had satellite tv but it was just a few Portuguese stations.Also not that we expected a welcome pack but there was nothing there at all just washing up liquid and a loo roll ! would of been nice to have something even the basics . beds were really uncomfortable and squeaky and the general feel of the place was a bit dated. I think the photos didn't show the actual view which was mainly over the town really we found it to be quite noisy and not the relaxing quiet retreat that we had hoped im afraid to say.

Dear Mark, It is with great pity that I see that you didn't enjoy your stay. It's also a surprise because you never complain about nothing, it's hard to help a guest that doesn't tell us the problem. As I told you when you arrive the apartment you rent had a problem so we had to change, we did a upgrade and switched to an apartment on the top floors, when you arrive your wife words was " What an amazing view", don't understand what you mean with "mainly over town". This building are Known for having the best view over town and sea... If you were not expecting a welcome pack why are you complaining that was nothing there? Our welcome pack is a bottle of water and a bottle of white wine, this is from a local productor and one of the best white wines in Portugal. The beds are new have +/- 6 meses. Some apartments have cable TV and other's don't but all the building have Satality with 8 Internacional Channels. For us it's really important that a Guest have a good experience and we really make a effort on that, but sometimes for some reason the guests have a problem and if they didn't share with us it's difficult to help. We read all the reviews and use it for improve. There's a lot of people working every day for our guests, please tell us how to be better. Regards João & Esmeralda
