We are perfect for families, walkers, big groups and those attending weddings at Solis Castle or Harvey's Point. Our home is situated in the idyllic countryside of Leghowney, filled with few houses, a children's playground, a community hall and beautiful scenery for those enjoy walking. Set over two floors, guests can enjoy the use of two Double bedrooms, one with an en suite, and a third bedroom with two twin beds and sitting area. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area that seats six and patio doors that overlook the garden. Our sitting room offers a stove so after a day of exploring, it's a great spot to warm up in front of the fire. Although we cannot list the property as fully suitable for disabled, the property is suited for wheel chair access with a ramp at the back of the property and walk in shower. It would be suitable for those with mobility restrictions.

Thank you for your 5 star review Hershell. Happy to hear you & your guests enjoyed your stay, our space and private location yet within easy access to Donegal Town. Many thanks for staying!
Very nice house, perfect for a week of holidays with the full family (3 kids from 6 to 15 yo). 10 minutes driving to Donegal town and main points of interest accessible in less than 2 hours (WAW, national parc). We had the chance to attend the sheep races of Leghowney, in front of the house!

Hi Mathieu -thank you for your lovely 5 star review and your kind words- we are delighted to hear that you had a great stay with us and that you enjoyed our convenient location on the outskirts of Donegal town and its accessability to all amenities and attractions. We also hope you enjoyed the sheep racing- its was a big day for the community:) We hope that we will see you again. Many thanks
The house and surroundings are lovely. House was very clean. If wifi is needed for work or other need, this is not the right place for you. Property advertises it, but signal is little to none. Everything else is great. The house is set near Donegal town and there are plenty of shops and restaurants.

About the host
Hosted by Frank Cassidy
Hi, I'm Frank, originally from Donegal and now living in Norway with my partner Malin and our son Cian. I am a carpenter by trade and Malin works with children with special needs.
Although we now live in Norway, we love to come back to our home in Donegal and visit at least twice a year. I grew up in Leghowney and my family all live nearby.
My favourite thing to do in Donegal is visit the local market every second Saturday of the month for their 'Five Mile Fry' and of course, our local pub Biddys O Barnes serves a great pint of Guinness.
Malin enjoys the beauty of the Donegal Countryside and afternoon tea at Solis Lough Eske Castle is a treat!
As we cannot be there and enjoy Donegal full time, we decided to open it up for guest to enjoy.
If you have any questions or are interested in booking with us, please do not hesitate to get in contact!
