A spectacular 4 seasons, lakefront home on beautiful Lake Couchiching only 90 minutes from Toronto, just north of Webers Burgers on hwy 11, north of Orillia and south of Gravenhurst. This beautifully newly furnished 2-story home has spectacular views from the deck and waterfront, 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8), gorgeous family room with 60” large screen TV, High-Speed Internet and fireplace, games room with Fooze Ball and Large Screen TV, 2 bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dishes and outdoor natural gas BBQ. Beautiful, clear, shallow water, perfect for small children. Canoe, paddle boat and brand new 30’ dock, for your enjoyment.

Treat yourself to one of Casino Rama's great shows or a theatre play at the Orillia Opera House. Great location - only minutes from Casino Rama and downtown Orillia. Visit Santa's Village in Bracebridge or Horseshoe Valley for ziplining, rock climbing and ogo balling in the summer or skiing (downhill & x-country), tubing or snowshoeing in the winter. Enjoy the fall colours, the changing season is absolutely stunning. This winter wonderland is also filled with activities such as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and ice-fishing. Book a weekend, a couple of days or a week of fun and relaxation with family or friends. Lots to do, lots to see. Book now and take advantage of the discount rates. We have a minimum 2-day rental (3 on long weekends and 3 during July and August) and a $150 cleaning charge which includes complete linen bedding change, fresh towel supply and basic house cleaning for your arrival. Note that for your safety the linens will be left at the foot of the bed so that you can be assured they are clean.

$500 security/damage deposit required upon booking which will be promptly refunded upon departure inspection.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Waterfront equipment: Return paddles, life jackets to the pump house & make sure the canoe & paddle boat are returned Outdoor chairs: Return any extra outdoor chairs Personal stuff: Check bedrooms

Please ensure dirty linens and towels are left at the foot of the bed in the master bedroom.

Great property. The location is excellent and you can’t ask for a prettier view of the lake. The house is very well stocked. Everything you may need in the kitchen and other areas of the house. Lots of outdoor seating on the deck or at the lake.

A great, spacious lakeside place! Had everything we could need. Beautiful large upper deck looking at the lake. We didn’t swim but the water looked quite clear. We very much enjoyed it here

There was black mould in upstairs shower and downstairs shower room smelt of sewerage. Quite a few cobwebs. No umbrella outside over table for the morning sun. Well equipped and great location for family getaway. Quiet but close to amenities. We loved staying here

NOTICE TO POTENTIAL GUESTS - we hope you will take the time to read all of the other reviews. This was an elderly person that may have had a difficult time expressing themselves. They said they loved staying at Hostaville and would come back again. Please take this into consideration as if the house had the issues she mentioned, we can't imagine why she would want to stay again.

Very well kept property. Felt really comfortable for all of us. We had three generations there (8 people) and it fit all our requirements. All appliances were better than average quality. Lager kitchen area. Great layout for main Family room .Nicely private residence. 4 bedrooms and 2 Large Bathrooms.Would definitely stay there again.

Hostaville is a great spot, close to amenities (food stores, an LCBO, marinas and golf courses) with a wonderful view! This was our second time staying there. The property isn't large but for the most part, is quite secluded from the neighbours. The house is very clean and well-provisioned with towels and bedding. The kitchen is fully and completely equipped. There is a lengthy, sandy bottom for swimming out front - great for smaller children.The host is very good about getting back to you on a timely basis. (We have corresponded with the host about updating the "House Manual" which would be helpful). Check-in and check-out all went according to plan.

We enjoyed our stay. Very nice quiet neighbourhood. Beds were quite comfortable. We were there during one of the hottest weeks of the summer so the air conditioning was a huge bonus. The water was the perfect temperature and shallow. Great for the grandkids, The cottage is equipped with everything you need for cooking, grilling and inside games for the days you can't be outside. Our host responded in a timely manner if we had any questions. Orillia centre is only 10 minutes away for all your shopping needs. If you're looking for a quiet vacation, I recommend booking.

I had a lovely stay here for 5 nights with my family. The place was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed The internet was fast and reliable. The host was quick to respond when we did have a question, and they checked in through the app to see how we were doing, but otherwise left us to ourselves. It’s a quiet, peaceful place and was a great relaxing break by the water.

The house was well laid out. Beautiful view of Lake Couchiching. Paddle boat and canoe available if you want. The bbq and WiFi worked well. The master bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a fire pit available. You need to bring your own wood. The pit is well located unless the wind is off the lake, then you have smoke in your face. The dock is too short to dock a boat as the water is about 1 foot deep at the end of the dock and is very shallow for about 100 meters. Everything worked well in the main bathroom. We didn’t use the basement at all so not sure about anything down there. We spent three nights there Sept 8-10. Host communicated well throughout the process. Good place for a family or two or three couples to enjoy.

Our 3 generation family 5 night stay was nothing but perfect!! We have stayed in rentals around the world & this cottage is at the top of our list!! Lovely property, enjoyed our stay

The house is very nice, well equipped, clean and in a great location. The waterfront is great for kids as it’s very shallow, but I would note that the bottom is mucky so water shoes are helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Host communication could be a bit better, but it didn’t negatively impact our stay.

Great experience

The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the large family room with the gas fireplace. It was a great location, right on the lake. And it was a quick drive to Horseshoe Valley, for snowboarding and spa. We would stay here again.

Wonderful!!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful three night stay at Hostaville. The view is great, the cottage itself is very comfortable for family members to be together, and the kitchen is very well stocked if you plan to cook. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to booking Hostaville again.

The cottage is very big and spacious and the access to the lake is awesome! The lake is very shallow - water is not bad overall, some parts are a bit murky. Lots of crab legs on the dock from the seagulls eating them there. The beds are comfy and the cottage is equipped with what you need. Enjoyed our stay with family! :)

After spending every summer in the area since 1988, I finally decided to buy my own house on the villages biggest lot in 2015. When I am not enjoying the property myself my parents and family are big helpers in offering the property for other potential guests that want to a perfect weekend getaway!

What makes this property unique

A home in the country! This is not cottage! This is a 4 bedroom bungalow with every modern amenity imagineable! This includes 2 big screen TV's, lots of sitting space, A/C and $30,000 in new furniture!
