Wonderful historic home of Lake Como, structured on several levels, with tavern, kitchen, living room, two bedrooms with double bed and two single beds and a roof terrace, which offers a spectacular view. The Ca dei L Era de Sott, which dominates the homonymous square, is distributed over three levels. On the ground floor are the tavern, with the original fireplace, and a small service bathroom, with washing machine. Going up the stairs, a little steep, you reach the large kitchen and equipped with every comfort, only apparently ancient. On the same level are placed the first bedroom, with two single beds and a balcony and the master bathroom, with shower and toilet. Finally, on the last floor, the living room, the magnificent panoramic terrace and the bedroom with double bed are located. Sheets, blankets and towels are provided.

Grandioser Ausblick, steile Anfahrt
My daughter and I stayed a week at this home in Carcente and we loved being there. The house has everything we needed and my favorite moments of my whole trip (Milan, Lugano, Bellinzona and other Lake Como villages) were those spent on the balcony of this house, looking at the amazing view of Lake Como, listening to the sounds of the spring fed fountain down below and the ringing of church bells from far below and simply being. This tiny village, high on the side of a mountain, with a breathtaking view, and no cars in the town, made me feel as if I had been taken back centuries, to a simpler time. Federica was the perfect landlady--there when we needed her but not hovering. It is quite a walk, uphill, to get to the house but the climb is worth it.
