The area that the flat is in is great. It is walkable to all attractions- 45 minutes to San Miguel market. The flat is fine for a night but incredibly noisy. We could not sleep at all.

Great stay

We visited Madrid earlier this month and our stay at Jose's property was everything we hoped for. They were available during the booking process for questions, replying quickly. The check-in went smoothly. The apartment was just as the pictures and description indicate. We loved the design of the rooms and the neighborhood is incredible. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Madrid.

The apartment is not modern in any way. It is in bad repair with old appliances. Had air conditioning but we couldn’t find a remote to turn it on. Would not recommend.

The apartment is eclectic and zany in a great area of town. Close to walking to retiro, around Salamanca, and very close to red line. There is AC in the living room but it did not quite reach all the way to the bedrooms, so it was a quite toasty night for an American used to AC. There is not a dryer despite the listing saying there is one, but there are clotheslines to dry your clothes which is common in Spain. The fridge also did not work. I would recommend for the host to put a few electric fans in the bedrooms to ensure cool air circulation.

The apartment is in a good area for accessing transit, restaurants, and sites. The neighborhood is good. Metro stations are close and it takes just a few minutes to get to tourist sites like the Sol plaza and the Royal Palace but is far enough away to get away from to tourist crowds. Using transit to and from the airport is easy and cheap as well. The condition of the apartment is a little rough but not bad. Cleanliness could be a little better. Some of the electrical sockets and switches should be changed out or tightened up. It's OK for the price if you don't need the Ritz.

Nice district, with many shops and pubIic transports, not far waIking to the Buen Retiro Pak (15mn) and to The Prado Museo (30mn). Nice Iiving/dining room weII equiped. A ver, el apartamento es un lujo: es grande, espacioso, limpio y en la mejor zona de Madrid, la procedura de llegada ha sido impecable justa y precisa, el señor José ha diseñado los muebles que son de los años 90 y están muy lindos la verdad, la señora que entrega la llave estaba justo a tiempo, el apartamento estaba impecable, ademas está cerca de muchas tiendas, una avenida con todo cerca, ideal para conocer Madrid a pie, sinceramente fue una joya y sin duda volvería a quedarme en el. Recomiendo 100%

Primero de todo nos dieron 2 juegos de llaves y uno no correspondía por lo que estuvimos con un solo juego toda la semana. La luz se corta constantemente, no tiene potencia y cada 15 minutos se va la luz. Todo está bastante deteriorado y no se ha actualizado. La calefacción son dos radiadores arcaicos que pueden resultar peligrosos. La situación geográfica es MARAVILLOSA pero el apartamento es muy caro teniendo en cuenta lo que te encuentras. Siendo sincera no lo recomiendo

Esta señora lo alquilo por 6 dias 2 personas y estubieron 4 les cobre de la fianza 200 euros. lo que dice de la luz no puedo entenderlo y lo de las llaves tampoco , porque dia antes a estado ocupado y todo funcionaba bien,, la opinion en vengativa, uds, juzguen
