Our experience with this holiday home and with DanCenter was unfortunately very disappointing.- Condition of the property: The apartment had visible mould indoors, and the outdoor furniture and barbecue were heavily soiled with bird droppings. These issues made our stay uncomfortable and did not reflect the standards we expected.- Deposit refund issue: After our departure, we initially received an official PDF confirmation (27 August) clearly stating that the full deposit of 672.00 would be returned. Based on this, and in light of the shortcomings of the property, we understood this as a fair settlement and were satisfied at first.- Contradictory handling afterwards: Weeks later, we were informed that various charges would be deducted and that we should even make an additional payment of 51.08. Despite repeatedly pointing out the earlier confirmation, DanCenter has not provided a transparent explanation for this contradiction.- Customer service: All communication during our stay was handled with one person, but subsequent responses from the company have been inconsistent, avoided the core issue, and did not escalate the matter to a supervisor despite our polite requests.Overall, this combination of poor property condition, contradictory communication regarding the deposit, and lack of accountability in customer service has left us very dissatisfied. We cannot recommend booking with DanCenter based on this experience.
