Lovely 4 Bed Villa to rent in Amarilla Golf with heated pool and sea views

This villa offers one of the most prominent positions in the La Quinta area. The original villa was knocked down and this 2 storey one built in its place. The owner had the villa built to his own specifications and the result is a very versatile 4 bed villa offering very comfortable holiday accommodation.

The villa has security gates at the front with an intercom to allow you to buzz people in from the outside.

As you walk into the villa you will see steps to the upstairs. Here you find the master bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Off the master bedroom is private balcony where you will enjoy gorgeous sea views across the golf course.

The master also has a large walk-in wardrobe.

The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and large fitted wardrobes and next door to that the 3rd bedroom also has twin beds and wardrobes. These two bedrooms share a family bathroom. On this side of the villa (the opposite side to the Golf course) there is a balcony that runs the whole length of the villa. From here you not only have lovely sea views but it catches the evening sunshine so is a gorgeous place to watch the sun go down with a nice cold drink!

Back downstairs, and to the right as you walk in there is 4th bedroom which also has a separate entrance. It has a single bed and it s own ensuite. A further fold up bed is provided in this bedroom if required.

There is also a downstairs toilet.

To the left of the entrance is the spacious kitchen which is very fresh and crisp. It is particularly well equipped and All the appliances are new and of good quality.

Between the kitchen and the living room there is a dining area with a high quality table and 8 chairs. From here you move into the comfortably furnished living room with patio doors that open out to the pool.

A Unique satellite TV is supplied with 1000 s of channels from around the world including BBC1, 2, ITV and CH4.
Wi-fi internet access is provided.

The private swimming pool has an excellent solar heating system that helps keep a constant temperature all year round. A patio table and 6 chairs are provided, along with plenty of sunbeds and a rocking chair. A BBQ is also provided.

There is also a separate sun area, fully gated from the main pool area where parents can relax knowing their children can play but not get to the pool.

Amarilla Golf is a lovely peaceful resort. There are a few bars and restaurants dotted around the resort and within 10 mins is a well stocked supermarket. Opposite here is the popular Premier Bar and restaurant with nightly entertainment.

A 10-15 minute walk from the villa will take you to the new marina that separates the resort of Amarilla with the neighbouring one of Golf Del Sur. Here there are many sea front restaurants, shops and bars as well as the beach club. Further into Golf Del Sur is the San Blas Commercial centre with its 3 squares, boutiques, bars and restaurants - many with evening entertainment.

The Spanish fishing village of Los Abrigos is a 10 minute drive and here you will find some lovely sea front fish, meat and pasta restaurants. Los Cristianos and Las Americas are an approximate 15 minute drive.

comfortable villa with a great location

Booked a villa for a large family vacation. First of all, the location is great. The ocean, grocery store, and restaurants are within walking distance. The villa had everything you need for a stay, including soap and towels. A nice bonus was the pool and barbecue area. The villa comfortably accommodated 8 people, so I can recommend it for a large company. Overall, a pleasant experience

Great place & location

We really enjoyed our stay, the accommodation is exactly what it says it is & easily accommodated us as a group of 5 adults. We ate in the apartment most days & spent plenty of time in the pool & relaxing around it. Any issues we did have were quickly addressed & resolved by the Managment team, they were housed in the near by 19th hole pool bar / restaurant which was fantastic, with great food & service.

Simply Putt (😊) A lovely Villa

Very spacious internally and externally. Lots of break out areas so you're not sitting on top of each other and can break away from the pool to quietly read a book. Facilities are excellent and the location is very good. Overlooking a Golf course and great views of the sea. Thoroughly recommend this for a destination that is not too rowdy.

the property is in need of a little TLC but overall not bad, the pool was kept to a very high standard the TV could do with updating and the one in the main bedroom does not work as no connection to the internet all in all we enjoyed our stay many thanks to Jon

We do not advertise a TV in the main bedroom so will take this out to avoid any future confusion. We agree the villa needs a lick of paint in a few areas where suitcases have caused marks. Amarilla Villa

Having been holidaying in Amarilla for the past 30 years, we were looking for a villa to accommodate 3 generations of family including an 8 month old baby and we found this one. Booking very straightforward and host responsive with queries. Villa was very comfortable with plenty of space and well equipped. Wi-if and TV was great compared to some others. Very private, safe and quiet and yet within easy walking distance of amenities. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Very spacious villa

The villa is very large with great space down stairs.As previous reviews the villa is in need of updating/refreshing but this did not affect our stay.Issue with tv in livingroom resolved very quickly and brand new tv was put in which had Netflix, prime, Disney etc. We called management about trees by the pool and same day these was pruned.Pool kept clean and pool cleaner was a lovely man. The outdoor area gets the sun most the day.Great bar 3 minutes walk called Tony’s which serves lovely food at reasonable cost and has a lovely atmosphere.The setting is very pretty of this villa it is very quiet which is what we wanted

Lovely large villa

The villa is spacious and roomy and we really enjoyed the pool. It does need a bit of care. One bathroom needs updating and more checking before new people arrive. Tv Internet and hairdryer were not working though this was sorted out fairly quickly. One hairdryer for a 4 bedroom villa not really sufficient. The location was good. Quiet but near shops and restaurants. With a little more attention this has the potential for 5 stars

Excellent stay in Amarillo Golf

The villa is located in a lovely street in a quiet section of the golf resort. The villa was well equipped and the beds very comfortable. The pool was kept clean however due to winds and the time of year there was a drop of seeds and leaves from the palm trees in the garden. However this was sorted easily. Check in was very easy. There were minor issues which were sorted rapidly. The pool is heated by a solar unit, the temperature of the water didn’t get much above 20 degrees - probably due to time of year and weather - it was a bit chilly for most except a few hardy children / teens.Could do with a few refreshers including sharper knives and extra oven shelf but these are minor points.On days of rain there was a smell from the downstairs en-suite, which doesn’t have a door between in and the bedroom, which was unpleasant but this did pass. I think this a common and uniform problem. Overall an amazing stay and would definitely recommmend.

The villa is lovely, needs a few updates but understandable for this time of year. Had an issue with the toaster but this was replaced immediately. The villa is about 15 minutes walk to the main bars and restaurants. There is however a couple within 5 minutes walk from the villa. The marina is 15 minutes walk too. The teenages went snorkling and jet skiing and enjoyed this thoroughly. I would defo go again but I would hire a car to get to and from the main Supermarket Mercadona and be able to go further afield easily. We walked this which took us 50 minutes and got a taxi back. Buses are frequent and easy to use. We got a bus to Los Cristianos number 483. Then free bus to Siam Park

Family getaway

The villa was as listed, a little tired in places but very spacious so as a group of eight, we never got in each others way! Towels were supplied, replaced and bedding changed once during our 10 day stay which was nice. The barbeque was updated during our stay as well for a lovely new model. The villa is on the outskirts of Amarilla Golf, and right by the 9th hole. Great when my husband needed an ice cream half way round, but not so good as 3 balls lost their way and ended up in the pool! Also on that note, I didn't think the reality of being next to a golf course through, as they understandably mow and water the course early in the morning. Finally the villa is on the landing flight path so planes do fly over quite low quite regularly. We enjoyed our stay, the villa was a great size and had everything we needed. I would suggest hiring a car as this allows you to really enjoy all the area has to offer, especially some very good restaurants - 19th hole is within walking distance though and definitely worth a visit.

Yes we agree that at the end of a very busy season, that the villa does need a lick of paint and this will be done very shortly. The villa only overlooks the small par 3 course which is only worked on once a week. There are some quiet bars / restaurants and a supermarket within a 10 min walk (including the amazing 19th Hole restaurant that you mention). Maybe you didn't walk down to the marina (15 mins walk) where there are plenty of sea front shops, bars and restaurants. Thank you for being such lovely guests. Family hols

The property is in a quiet setting however being on the golf course you are woken at 7.30 each morning by the groundsman cutting the grass. The sprinklers every night heavily spray the outside area windows had to be closed due to loud music from nigh club? Property needs updating. Room layout not as stated . Downstairs bedroom terrible smell in bathroom. TV does not work hair drier did not work kettle had a life of its own washing machine door handle broken and dangerous and although all problems reported they only came to clean the filthy freezer out which I had already had to do.No key to lock or unlock the outside gate not all doors locked/opened. Not a lot for children to do around the area - too far out.Get rid of the trees by the pool as we had to constantly clean the pool out before using.

Thank you for the review. Whilst we find some of your comments a little strange, we appreciate all customer comments. The greenkeeper cuts the grass once / twice a week and he has 18 greens to get through. I have spoken to him on many occasions and he purposely changes the order in which he cuts the grass on the greens so not to wake people up. Therefore he will only be doing the green closest to the villa (which is still a fair distance) early in the morning on rare occasions. And unless you have windows / doors open you wouldn't hear anyway. There is absolutely no night club anywhere near the villa! There was a wedding at the golf club on the Saturday evening (which has to stop by 11.30pm) so perhaps this is what you heard. Apologies for the smell in the bathroom. We have now changed / cleared the traps and this has resolved things. The TV absolutely 100% works and worked during your stay. It is an internet based system with 1000s of channels around the world. There are instructions on how to use it but if any guests have a problem please contact us and we'll pop over. We couldn't find an issue with the kettle but replaced this anyway. We have also bought a new hair dryer. (Our apologies for this). The villa is in a very pretty, quiet area yet just a 10-15 min walk to the marina with its water sports, jets skis, submarina, sea front bars, shops and restaurants. We appreciate all feedback from our guests and enjoyed hosting you. We hope we can welcome you back again.

Fabulous Family Villa

We stayed for a week in October, there were 5 of us, my husband, 2 children, myself and my mother. The villa worked perfectly for us as it had two bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs which we used and one bedroom with en-suite downstairs which was perfect for my mother to have her own space. The main bedroom with en-suite was absolutely lovely, it had a small balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on in the evening, spacious bathroom and an amazing wardrobe area with lots of hangers and lots of space for all your clothes/shoes/bags. The bed was also super comfy! The two children’s bedrooms were also spacious, plenty wardrobe space and had shutters on the windows which was great in keeping the sunlight out resulting in a couple of lay ins from the children!! The downstairs is all open planned which works great for us and had plenty of seats at the dining table/sofas for as all to sit comfortably. The pool area was great, the separate area under cover was good for lunchtime so we could still sit out but not in the sun. We had afew minor issues on check in but they were dealt with and resolved within a matter of hours, fantastic communication from owners. The staff at the 19th Hole restaurant were so helpful and friendly, helping arrange taxis etc and the food and drinks were great, would highly recommend, aswell as La Mesa which is only a 5 min walk from the villa. It was a lovely villa and we would return.

Maison spacieuse

Beaucoup de place, confortable mais des points négatifs : la piscine chauffée ne l'est pas. Maison assez bruyante : tondeuses du golf tous les matins à 7 h. Des problèmes aussi d'eau chaude pour les douches, comme c'est une maison pour 9 personnes, les premiers ont de l'eau chaude mais pas les derniers. Nous avons malgré tout passé un bon séjour car la maison est spacieuse et permet à un grand groupe de passer des vacances ensemble.

Thank you for the review. We are so glad you had a lovely, comfortable stay at the villa. The pool is solar heated. As discussed with you at the time, there is plenty of hot water and we have a huge boiler but if your 2 babies have a bath each, plus the 7 other people are having a shower at the same time, its impossible to provide hot water for all. The villa is located in an extremely quiet area. They cut the grass once a week at the golf course and we are a fair distance from the green. We want all our guests to have the best experience at the villa and as you found, we will always offer the best possible service. We enjoyed having you as guests and hope we can welcome you back again in the future.

Wunderbare Ferien

Wir haben zu acht die Zeit in der Villa sehr genossen. Viel Platz, reichlich Liegen( Sonne,Schatten, windgeschützt) und die tolle Lage haben uns einen entspannten Urlaub verleben lassen . Danke!

La maison est très bien mais manque d'entretien, son emplacement très proche de l'aéroport et du golf la rend bruyante la nuit ....mais au delà de ça le propriétaire, les gérants, le personnel de piscine et de ménage sont tous très sympathique. Nous recommandons a 100% pour un séjour en famille .

Tolle ruhige Lage

Tolle ruhige Lage. Vermieter sehr nett und gut erreichbar. Mängel wurden in kurzer Zeit erledigt. Die Lage der Villa ist herrlich. Sie ist nur etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wird lt. Aussage des Vermieters teils renoviert. Wenn dass erledigt, ist sie zu empfehlen. Man kann sich wirklich wohlfühlen und erholen.

We truly feel the villa offers excellent value for money, and as you found, we will always look after our guests. Yes we are half way through some renovations and they will be finished by mid Dec (2020). We have re-painted, bought new curtains , new bed linen and some new patio furniture.
