About this property

Lakeside: Rhosneigr family holiday villa sleeps up to 8 guests

Check In: 4pm | Check Out: 10am

Can't choose between views of sea, lake or mountains? Want a quiet location but within easy reach of the amenities? This recently refurbished, four bedroom detached villa combines all of the above and is just a two-minute walk to the beach!

Lakeside is beautifully presented with an abundance of space inside and out, so you can spread out and enjoy some downtime when you need it and when you all come together you won't feel cramped!

Set towards the end of a private cul-de-sac and enjoying an elevated position, Lakeside enjoys to-die-for views of Maelog Lake, Dunes, Broad Beach and beyond to the mountains of Snowdonia, the Llŷn Peninsula and Bardsey Island.

The blissfully peaceful location is perfect for family or friend groups who are looking for a family-friendly getaway with loads of outdoor space, and with easy access to the beach and Rhosneigr village.

If you can drag yourself away, a gentle two-minute river-side stroll will take you to Broad Beach, or in the other direction on a lakeside walk, and a five minute stroll will take you to the village of Rhosneigr, with its shops and eateries as well as to the main village beach.

Living, dining and entertaining

At the entrance of Lakeside there is a lovely little sun room with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy a sunny morning coffee - even on windy days - or quiet afternoon reading time with a cup of tea and a slice of cake!

The main living room (there are two!) is a beautiful light space with large picture windows that let the sunlight flood in and plenty of comfortable sofas and armchairs for the whole family to relax and enjoy a fun games night or sit down to watch a movie together. There is also a lovely fireplace and bookshelves full of books to rest up and relax in those cooler evenings.

The open plan kitchen/ dining room features a beautiful wooden dining table to seat eight guests and comfortable chairs, so you can sit and chat or play a round of cards long after you've finished dinner. The dining room flows seamlessly into the well-appointed and spacious kitchen that has everything you need to cook up a storm for family and friends during your stay and the centrepiece island breakfast bar is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine whilst prepping dinner together or for an informal breakfast or buffet lunch.

The kitchen opens out onto the sunny rear patio area with a table and chairs where you can dine al fresco when the weather allows.

A great little extra with Lakeside is the ground floor shower room that can be accessed via the kitchen or the garage, ideal for when you come back from the beach, strip off the wet kit and walk straight into a lovely hot shower!

Sleeping arrangements

All three bedrooms and a Crog Loft bedroom are located on the first floor which is reached by carpeted stairs with a bannister.

The beautiful en suite master is furnished with a double bed, tons of wardrobe space and boasts floor-to-ceiling doors which open onto a Juliette balcony with glorious views across the dunes, and mountains (on a clear day) and an en suite bathroom.

There is a further double bedroom which also has floor-to-ceiling doors opening onto a Juliette balcony with glorious views. The third bedroom is a cosy twin bedroom with a dressing table. The fourth room is a games / tv room with a 'crog loft' style elevated bed; a cracking space but this is not suitable for young children or for adults with restricted mobility.

There is a further shared bathroom and separate WC.

An unexpected surprise is the upstairs sitting room which leads out to a sunny decked terrace furnished with comfortable seating where you can relax and enjoy a birds-eye view to the beautiful landscape beyond.

This room offers the perfect space to relax or for the kids to take over as their games or TV room.

Blissful outdoor space

The peaceful location allows you to make the most of the gorgeous garden at Lakeside with multiple options for outside relaxing and dining whether in the open aspect, enclosed front garden, the rear patio area or the first floor decked terrace. Equipped with a masonry chiminea BBQ for all the family to enjoy.

Views, space, and a glorious garden . There is so much to love about Lakeside!

Our weekend break in Rhosneigr
Our stay at Lakeside was excellent the hose provided everything our family needed for a lovely weekend break in February. It was warm clean and well equipped, the views are amazing and Rosneiger provides lots of wonderful walks on the beach and lake. We would definitely book again.

Another week at Lakeside
Just had another week at Lakeside. Owners have installed a shower room downstairs, revamped the bathroom upstairs and made the kitchen and dinning room one room by knocking down the joining wall since our last visit. These renovations are really good and of a very high standard. Location is perfect, just on the edge of the village at the end of a cul du sac so away from any noise of people or traffic. Great view of the sea and mountains (and the Oyster Catcher which is always lit up). Easy access to the beach and a short walk to the shops/restaurants. House is perfect for a couple with dogs or for a family. Back garden is very small but does get the sun in the afternoon and is secure if you have dogs. Beds are a little too soft for us but thats personal taste. We'll be back.

Angelsey back to normal
My friends and myself are regular visitors to Anglesey and this visit was enhanced by the many interesting exhibitions across the Island. Everything was open ,back to normal, pre Covid. The house was wonderful, plenty of room for 5 adults, inside and outside. The B B Q facility was an added bonus . All shops , cafes, pubs were opened , and we enjoyed our strolls down to the beaches every evening. An excellent stay.

Perfect spot
The house was very nice and in an excellent spot. Everything was clean except for the crockery, but that was really up to the previous occupants and nothing to do with the owners. Luckily everything went in the dishwasher so all sorted there. Great beach access and into the town and the balcony was great for watching the world go by. Will definitely look to go back.

Fabulous holiday home
We had a marvellous stay in this beautiful holiday home. The views were amazing. Couldn't fault the accommodation or the location. A real home from home. The cleanliness was not up to my standard, just a couple of minor points. The kitchen bin had not been cleaned, the coffee machine still had a used pod inside and this created a bad smell after a few days. Very disappointed with the welcome pack as only two bin bags supplied, no tea or coffee supplied eventhough milk was included.
