About this property

(A202) Loft Condominiums

On the main level you have a living room, with a fully equipped kitchenette, that has a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dish-ware, cookware, and silverware provided. Our loft units also offer dvd player, with a free videotape library, river rock propane fireplaces, and private outdoor decks with electric barbeques. Sleeps 4-6. Please be advised: sofa beds are only acceptable for small children, not for adults, as they are uncomfortable for adults, so we will not guarantee a good night's rest on them.



Located high on top of a mountain at an elevation of 6,000 feet, this 48 unit condominium complex not only offers you great mountain and forest views, but also offers you a great location to start your day from, just minutes to all the main attractions! Our condominiums come in two configurations, studios and lofts. All units come completely furnished and fully equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.




Do you have internet access at any of your home properties? Yes but very limited! Only a few of our home properties have recently been able to receive Internet access. Due to our remote location, and the fact that most of our properties are surrounded by tall Yosemite pine and cedar trees, it makes it almost impossible to receive clear satellite signals, cable isn't available yet in our community. The system we currently have is a satellite based Internet system, and is vulnerable to adverse weather conditions, therefore we cannot guarantee Internet connectivity during your stay.

This is the second time my family and I have stay in this property and we have loved the easy check in, and that we have plenty of room for 6 people to sleep comfortably and two full bathrooms to use at the same time. Kitchen is also well equipped and have everything needed to make good meals. Property needs an upgrade but other that that is perfect for a family of 6 to have a nice vacation inside Yosemite.

This Condo is very cozy. Looks small but actually pretty good size for 4 people. Two bathrooms, one up stairs and down stairs. Condo is very clean and simple. Worked out great for us.

All was great,completely contactless and everything went seamlessly. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve meals. The only thing I find an issue with was that the tub/shower did not have anti slip tape. It was extremely slippery while showering.

Clean and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood. We saw two bears along the road less than a mile from our condo, so don't go walking after dinner time. It's a 20-minute drive from the west end of the Valley and 30 minutes from Glacier Point, which isn't bad.Electrical outlets in the bedroom were inconveniently located. There was no good spot to place suitcases while open other than on the bed itself. The laundry room has a change machine on site, but no detergent is available on site.The WiFi during the evening and mid-morning is completely unusable, even for simple tasks like checking email and Google maps, and cell service from Verizon and T-Mobile is also very spotty. You have to do all your Internet usage at Degnan's Kitchen in the Valley, which has decent WiFi.
Probably 50 yards off the main road into Yosemite West.

Clean, basic, convenient.

This place is located in an unusual area, in that it’s “outside” of Yosemite, but the only way to get there is to be in the park. So it’s a very convenient base to explore the park, you don’t need to enter/exit the park (there’s no boundary or gate to Yosemite West). The unit itself is clean. It’s dated, basic, but well equipped. Wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time there, but why would you, you’re there to explore Yosemite. No a/c, but it does cool down at night. Internet only works when few people are using, so don’t count on it. No services nearby so bring food and supplies with you. Bathrooms have soap, but no shampoo. (Owner, you should fix that little glitch). Would stay here again.

The condo's location was excellent, providing easy access to Yosemite Valley, which made it an ideal base for exploring the park. It was also straightforward to find, and communication with the host was seamless and friendly—especially appreciated when we didn’t initially receive our check-in instructions. That said, the property had several issues that detracted from our stay. While the cleaning staff handled the basics well, some areas, like the rug, couch, and floors, were in need of a deep clean. The furniture was a concern—dining chairs were extremely wobbly, and the table required a wad of paper to keep it from tipping over. Safety and maintenance also fell short. There was a semi-raised carpet tack at the upstairs bathroom threshold that was hazardous for bare feet, and the upstairs shower leaked through the ceiling to the lower floor, creating a damp, unpleasant smell reminiscent of wet dog. The beds, while serviceable, were not very comfortable, and pervasive air fresheners in the hallway emitted an overpowering scent of cheap cinnamon and artificial flowers. For this cost for two nights, we expected a much higher standard—immaculate cleanliness, better-maintained furnishings, and a touch of understated luxury. While the location was a highlight, the condition of the property left much to be desired.

Lovely week in the mountains

Very comfortable stay in Yosemite! Close to the valley and Wawona Sequoia grove. Suggest picking up groceries before getting to Yosemite as resources are somewhat limited here. Lovely, peaceful, quiet condo. Plenty of fans to get it cool at night.

Yosemite West condo review

Beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Yosemite Valley, very close to the road to Glacier Point (closed this time of year due to snow). About 35 minutes to the Mariposa Grove. The place was spotless, has 2 bathrooms, excellent satellite television. As with most locations in the mountains, there was no cell service with T-Mobile at this location. There was very limited internet Wi-Fi at the property, sufficient for e-mail, texting and phone calls over Wi-Fi. There are no restaurants nearby, so bring your own food. The kitchen was very serviceable. I would definitely stay there again.

30 minutes to Yosemite Valley Floor, Very Clean, Very Quiet.

Great place to stay a short drive from Yosemite Valley Floor, the full kitchen is great, as the food options in the valley are somewhat limited and expensive. Family friendly and although the condos were fully booked when we were there, it was completely quiet from 10pm-8am. Highly recommend!

Great stay, great location.

The condo worked really well for my husband, me and little toddler. The condo was clean and well-stocked and the communication was super clear. The location is really amazing. It did get a bit hot in the middle of the night (stayed mid-June) and we slept upstairs.

Great Yosemite location!

This was the best location outside of the park. It was so close to Glacier Point Rd that we felt like we were in the park. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate to be in the area again.
