Cants Lofthouse Vineyard Cottage accommodation is the perfect location for your stay in the Hunter Valley. Enjoy this beautiful cottage accommodation with spectacular views of the vines, mountains and native bushland all the way across to the Barrington Tops. Sit by the refreshing pool whilst enjoying your favourite glass of Hunter Valley wine and listen to the abundant birdlife. You will feel the stress of the city just slipping away.

Cants Cottage accommodation consists of two spacious bedrooms (1 queen and 1 double) and an enormous loft bedroom that can sleep up to 9 guests, enabling comfortable accommodation for up to 13 guests. The house has two bathrooms and a separate toilet.

Cants Cottage has a lovely country kitchen with all the mod cons and a great open plan lounge and dining room with a cosy open fireplace for those cooler months. Outside you have a large wrap around verandah that leads to a refreshing swimming pool and a huge cabana with panoramic views over the vineyards and valley.

Cants Cottage is fantastic for a romantic getaway or a great place for a larger group of family or friends. Country breakfast provisions are supplied by the onsite owner for the first morning, which include bacon, eggs, bread, milk and juice (please note no condiments are provided), plus freshly laundered linen and towels.....you won't want to leave.

Weekend - minimum 2 nights, 4 guests from $549 per night
Midweek - minimum 2 nights, 4 guests from $412 per night
Additional adults $80 per person per night
Additional children 2-13 years $64 per person per night
Infants under 2 years free of charge

Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

NOTES
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.

Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

Love the cottage and the pool. Comfortable beds and room for us all to sit and hang. Didn’t love the spiders. I know this property was is in the bush but perhaps getting the place sprayed would eliminate that issue. Also there were a lot of webs inside higher up that need to be cleared, a couple lights were not working and there was a leak in the roof. Overall we had a wonderfully relaxing stay and would return to this property.

Great Location Great Host

We had a very enjoyable weekend, tasting the local wines and some excellent food. The cottage has all the right ingredients for a great get together with commanding views over the valley. Four bars on your mobile and groovy Coffs just five minutes away in Broke if that’s important. Enjoy !

Peaceful Cants Cottage

A large group of friends stayed in Cants Cottage. The house itself was excellent, clean and the beds very comfortable, plenty of people able to sleep in the loft. The kitchen was well equipped. Broke and surrounds were very pretty, nice a close to the wineries, and also a trip to Wollombi was well worth it. Lovely peaceful surroundings, and Betty the owner was very welcoming.

It is so beautiful and homely it really has such a wonderful feel to it and the queen bed upstairs is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!! Spent the night before my wedding here with all my girlfriends but looking forward to spending my anniversary here too!!

Large Cosy Quiet Place

Nice cosy cottage, gets a bit cold in winter but there's a nice fireplace to warm you up. Partner had a bit of trouble with asthma due to smoke from fireplace and dust on the last night. Maybe an air purifier would help here. Nice location and great roads to drive around in Hunter Valley. All in all was a great place to stay and Betty was a lovely host. Had 8 people stay and we all were comfortable and had a good time. Great reception if you're on Telstra as well.

The whole house needs attention. Its dated and needs a great overhaul. The showerhead fell on my sons head. The dust under the lounges looks like it's been there for a decade. It was raining when we arrived and the waterfall that was between the carport and the house was shocking. The guttering needs some serious attention.

A most wonderful place to stay.

Cant's Cottage was a fantastic place to stay for myself and 9 of my friends. The location is absolutely perfect. The pool is fantastic and the loft bedroom was a heap of fun for a group of chatty girls to talk well into the night. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay around the area. Great country cottage with beautiful pool

We had an amazing stay here and will definitely be back again and again. Betty the owner made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. The house is exactly as described and looks the same as the pictures. We are just a family of 4 but the house can easily accommodate 2 families. The pool was great and clean and the kids spent most of the daylight in there. The kitchen was we stocked well pots and pans plus utensils and basic foods for cooking like salt, pepper, oil, sauces, milk, bacon and eggs. Beds were very comfortable and air-conditioning worked very well. Phone and internet reception was surprisingly good, we are with Optus. Expectations for staying here should be classic country cottage with beautiful views over the valley. Highly recommended!

- photos do not fit description - dam full of septic water - pool was green (not useable) - ants all over the house - landscaping was very untidy - house a lot smaller than depicted - definitely not suitable for 12 people - property manager extremely rude - police officer lives next door (first thing owner said) - were told to turn music off, music was low already - owner lives 20m from the property (not mentioned in description) - upon arrival we were told to be mindful of water usage, how are 12 people supposed to shower? ; again not explained in the description. - ended up leaving and staying at the Crowne Plaza (which I highly, recommend)
