This property had ample space for our family who is visiting to attend a local wedding. The kitchen had what we needed for a few meals. The bets were comfortable and towels were plenty. We enjoyed the view of the Kalamazoo River.
Great accommodation for 7, including 5 children. Clean, roomy, pleasant and comfortable. Disc golf and volleyball were enjoyed. Disappointed in the creek. That had been a major draw- we wanted to kayak. Low water and significant suspicious looking plant growth were a major deterrent to kayaking. We went into Plainwell and rented kayaks on the river so that was an added expense. Not sure that we could have managed moving kayaks down the steep ridge to the creek had situation been different. We also went to Yankee Springs swimming- nice beach. Weather was unseasonably hot (105 F heat index) for 4 days but we managed to pass time with board games. The house was great and as represented! Thank you.
Host was great with communication and friendly. Location was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking the trails when we had some extra time. Plenty of space inside the home. We did have to log into our own streaming on one of the TVs for use and the gas fire pit was not working, but everything else was great! Lots of things to keep you busy during any season! We hope to return in the summer when we aren’t just needing a bed to rest our heads in-between sports.
Fantastic stay at a great place. The enchanted chalet was a perfect place for families. The brand new hot tub was a great feature and we loved the views of the lake with all the swans! The home was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a weekend away. It was so convenient to get to bittersweet ski resort, only a 4 min drive and close to good restaurants, Walmart, and the surrounding towns. The beds were comfortable, plentiful towels and kitchen items to cook. Washer and dryer located on the first floor which are large for the linens and towels. We loved the fireplace and cozy living space. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back next year!!!
Lots of nice touches - including large collection of board games, books, DVDs, satellite tv and well-stocked kitchen. Would definitel stay there again.
In town for a wedding with our adult children. Home was truly a pleasant surprise, exceeded expectations with many nice touches. Extremely clean, very well equipped kitchen. The back deck was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee, we wish we’d had more time to explore the property. Very good value for a group!
Host was very welcoming and very quick to respond to emails. This is the second time we stayed here to enjoy the skiing in the area. The trails on the property were great and my youngest enjoyed seeing the deer that visited every morning. We all enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after a day of snow tubing and skiing. The kitchen was equipped with all the utensils we needed for home cooked meals and with 4 teens we loved being able to take advantage of that. Towles and bedding were provided as well.
Spacious, outdoor hot tub, and only 5 minutes from Bittersweet Ski hill. It's also only 10 minutes from Plainwell where there are plenty of restaurants and big box stores.
Wonderful home!! Our family had a great time. The owners really went above and beyond stocking this home, kayaks, yard games, fire pit, board games etc. our kids were entertained the entire time :)
