The little apartment was very clean and tidy. It was stocked with everything you need. The location was fantastic. Very close to many things you would want to see and close to transportation means. The only issue I had is that I left one of the keys in the door on the inside of the apartment thinking it would be easy for me to lock the door from the inside when I returned. Don't do that. That made the key that I had with me non-functioning. We had to call a locksmith to come open the door. It was a hassle for me and for the apartment manager.

Fabulous apartment located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Great views from the window!! Very neat and had everything you could need. Smooth check in upon arrival! So convenient to public transport and tourist areas. If our travels bring us back to Barcelona we would definitely stay there again.

We loved the location, and the views were excellent. The apartment was close to key sights and restaurants. Derek thoughtfully had coffee, tea, and water for us, and the umbrellas were a much-appreciated touch.

The location was terrific, as advertised. Just off Plaça del Catalunya, with a metro stop just outside the door. The studio was clean and comfortable. We had a little difficulty in check in because the person helping us settle in does not speak much English and my Spanish is rusty, but we were, after all, in Spain, not the States. We had a little difficulty with the WiFi; the language barrier may have resulted in miscommunication. Lack of WiFi for a few days was an inconvenience but was resolved. If one is visiting Barcelona, I recommend this option.

We had a great time in Barcelona and would definitely recommend this apartment. The host was very responsive and flexible (preparing the apartment earlier than the 3pm deadline and letting us store our luggage till 1pm on the day of departure). But more than that, the apartment is at an excellent location right next to Catalunya Plaza and La Rabla - several sights are within walking distance. The apartment was clean and well stocked, the check-in/check-out process was very easy, there was security at the entrance and the doors to the building are always locked. The apartment manager Hercles was very friendly and easy to work with ... probably the best apartment during our extensive European tour.

Excellent location on the Pasa de Gracia, near elegant shopping and central to many restaurants within the city. Communication could have been a bit smoother, the apartment was not as sanitary as would be expected. There are many options in this area, this would not be our first choice.

Thank you for your comments although they are somewhat strange. You were given information regarding check in and were furnished with a contact number and requested to contact your check in person at least half an hour before arrival. You were also given advice as to how best to arrive at the apartment. Your comment regarding the sanitary conditions is disturbing to say the least. If you found something disagreeable it would have been wise to contact either myself by email or your Barcelona contact. You did not do so therefore we were not aware of any problem. You informed me of your early flight arrival and requested an early check in. I arranged an early check in for you at 11:30 to leave luggage. Your flight was changed and you failed to communicate that information.
