Casa de Rosa is a simple but delightful and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with lots of character. Situated in the lovely seaside village of Currarong, just 2.5hrs south of Sydney, the apartment is the entire top floor of a typical 2 story fibro beach house. Sitting on the edge of the village with bush on 2 sides it is an idyllic setting for a peaceful holiday. Chances are you may by greeted by kangaroos as the property is not fenced. It is just a 5 minute walk to many beautiful beaches.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen for those who love to cook whilst on holidays, a big bath for relaxing, and a comfortable lounge and dining area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. The jewel in the crown of Casa de Rosa is the beautiful covered deck that has views of the ocean whilst you sit amongst the tree tops. It is one of the biggest rooms in the house and has a BBQ, dining table and chairs for outdoor eating and whiling away the hours when your not at the beach having fun.
The apartment is fully self contained and guests will not have to share any of the upstairs spaces. The back and front yard will be shared with the owner who lives downstairs. Guests will not have access/use of any of the apartment downstairs or the front and back outdoor living areas. There is parking for 1 guest's car in the driveway and more parking on the street out the front of the house if needed. To access the house guest will find the key located in a key safe situated under the staircase. There is a torch hanging next to it incase you arrive after dark. 2 days before your arrival you will be sent the code to the key safe.
We have spent the year renovating. All the internal work has been completed but there is still work to be done on the garden and the downstairs outdoor living areas. So just letting you know the property is unfinished and you will find piles of pavers sitting around the side of the house and patches of dirt where the grass has yet to grow. Don't be put off though as you will have a beautiful deck to spend your time on when you are not down at the beach. The outside of the house needs a lick of paint but sadly that can't be done until next year.

We had a fabulous time in Rosie’s lovely apartment. Great facilities… we loved the big veranda. Fantastic location. Easy walk to the water and walking tracks.
Stayed at Rosie’s Place over Easter with a friend and my partner.
Such a beautiful place filled with beautiful art and objects. The outlook into nature is a perfect complement. I love Currarong and am so glad I’ve now stayed at Rosie’s.
The property was very homely, like as if you were visiting a really interesting friends place.. it’s not all mod cons, possibly not used frequently as it was a bit musty at first but we opened the windows and it was all good, felt relaxed and easy, we cooked all our meals there no problem.. we stayed a while so use of the washing machine would have been helpful.. great deck.. short walk to the rock pools and beach short drive to the incredible beecroft peninsular and not far really from Huskisson hyams etc. we really enjoyed it!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The place was not what was advertised. It was much better than the pictures. It was quiet and peaceful and I felt immersed in nature with every aspect looking out the the bush and trees. The kitchen had everything -very well equipped.
Clean spacious quiet place close to to excellent clean beaches and bush walks The owner Rosie is friendly and always on the move and has a lot of knowledge in many aspects i think
We had a lovely time at La Casa de Rosa. Very cosy and comfortable, the house was perfect to discover the beautiful Curarrong by the bush and by the sea. The Kids loved chasing the kangaroos in the backyard, the beaches are fantastic and a minute away. Rosie has traveled and she will share her knowledge of Currarong and the World. A little treasure, Thank You

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and well set up. Rosie the owner was fantastic. We sat on the deck, read books, drank wine and talked to the birds. It was a short walk to the beach.

Cosy with great outside terrace
We really liked our stay in this property. It was only a 5 minute walk to the sea and the place itself had everything we needed: lots of kitchen appliances to cook nice dinners, great outside terrace to hang out with comfortable lounge chairs.
The only thing that threw us off a little bit was the fact that there was so much junk outside of the house downstairs, it looked a bit dirty (the upstairs apartment was in good and clean shape though) and not very welcoming. I would strongly advise the owners to clean up all the stuff that is being stored around the house, to give it a nice, clean look from the outside and make people feel like it was worth paying for the stay..

Great location, very affordable and comfortable! However, it'd be a lot better if toilet window could be opened for more fresh air. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.
