Home away from home

Our 10 days at "Cottage by the ocean Scarborough" were so comfortable it was difficult to think we weren't staying at home - except for the location. All amenities in the cottage were available and easily accessed and we would highly recommend this holiday home to all.

Second visit, more to come

We love staying here. It's fairly close to Perth CBD, has a great range of cafes and restaurants in the area and some great parks for the dogs. Coming back was like visiting a second home, very comfortable and happy leaving the dogs when we went out. We've got more trips to Perth planned, won't stay anywhere else.

Comfortable house not far from Scarborough centre

Clean and comfortable accommodation with everything you need for your stay. Close enough to Scarborough beach but on a nice quiet side street as the beach front is extremely busy especially at the weekend.

Quiet, comfortable and private pet friendly home!

What a lovely, clean, stylish and homely place to stay not too far from the beach. Beautifully decorated and offering all the comforts of home, plus a doggy door to the safe and secure back yard. I stayed here on my own with my little poodle and it was both a true sanctuary for resting and a convenient location for visiting family and friends. Thank you for a lovely place to stay with the added element of being pet friendly.

A quirky home from home

A perfect location and very comfortable with all the usual amenities. Would be 5 stars across the board but the padlock on the gate is rather tricky if you are not tall and getting on in years and the lock box was very stiff to open. Also some photos are out of date - lounge furniture particularly. Needed dusting in the out of sight places and total lack of instruction booklets for the various appliances - e.g. microwave. A house manual would help. But as a home rather than just a rental space for our 3 week stay the best we have ever had. Would definitely stay here again.

Yep, NOW I know why there are sooooo many excellent reviews for this lovely home; I've just spent 5 nights there and I have to agree 100% with all the other 5 star reviewers. This house is very homely, beautifully decorated, very well kept and the best security I could ever hope for. I thoroughly loved this place......and the wonderful hosts/owners (Wayne & Rhonny), who were hugely helpful. These aren't just 'words'....it's the truth and I can guarantee you I/we will be keeping this home on our favourites list!! I unhesitatingly HIGHLY recommend this lovely home and this lovely couple!! THANK YOU Wayne & Rhonny!! ;o)

Location was convenient and close to the beach. Host was lovely and responsive. We were very grateful that our dog Daisy could stay. However there were personal items left in drawers, cupboards, pantry and fridge/freezer. Cleanliness wasn't great (old mats etc) and all rooms were very cluttered with odd bits of furniture that made a small place feel smaller. Outdoor areas were not well maintained.

Quiet and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely house that's located in a quiet area and surrounded by trees and birds. The house had everything you could possibly need and is perfect for families with pets. Would stay again.

My dogs and I had a great week at the Cottage for my week of Perth based workThe location of the dog beach was such a bonus and the house was well appointed and clean.An automated gate would be the best addition possible. A great place to stay.

Second stay, just as good

Super comfortable cottage as a base to visit familly and friends in Perth. Very dog friendly with lovely secure outdo9r areas as well. Highly recommended.
