Villars-Colmars is a small mountain village at 1250 meters above sea level. Our rental is on the ground floor of our chalet. You will have the benefit of a garden with lawn, very sunny, without vis-à-vis, with views of the mountain and the peaks of Mercantour. From the chalet you can go for walks and hikes to appreciate nature and landscapes. The region is very rich in observation of animals such as chamois, mittens, marmots but also of birds, such as the golden eagle, the griffon vulture etc. The Mercantour Park offers you a magnificent diversity of animals and flowers, all protected. Here, we come to rest, alone or with the children: the region has no shortage of outdoor activities or cultural events, especially in Colmars les Alpes, a medieval city. With us, nature respects itself and we will be delighted to make you discover wild places, lakes, rivers, discovery circuits for your enjoyment.


The apartment is 50 m2, it consists of 2 rooms, the main with American kitchen, dining table, sofa bed and double bed, the other room is a bedroom with 2 pull-out beds. The 2 rooms have French windows opening onto the private garden. Large wardrobe in each room, library with books and games for children.

From the chalet, without taking the car, you can access a trail and all-terrain trails overlooking huts and peaks.
In season you can go for strawberries and raspberries as well as mushrooms.
In the village we have a few shops, including a Casino, a stationery bookstore with tobacco, a bar-restaurant and a hotel restaurant. You can also go to the market in Colmars, 2km from Villars-Colmars. Market days are Tuesday and Friday morning.
In Villars-Colmars, in the heart of the village, you can go horse riding with 'le Verdon à Cheval'.
A little higher in the valley, you can take advantage of the Allos Leisure Park to bathe, play pedalos, play mini-golf and take a stroll.
Two heated swimming pools are open in summer in Beauvezer (2km) and in Colmars (2km) from mid June to the end of September.

Haut Verdon is very well equipped for mountain bikers but also paragliders.
Fishermen will find their happiness with trout fishing in the Verdon and other rivers.


For the ski season, we are 18 km from the Val d'Allos la Foux station and 9 km from the Val d'Allos le Seignus station.
For cross-country skiing we are 8 km from Ratéry station and 18 km from Colle Saint Michel station.
You can go snowshoeing on foot from the chalet to go to the Chasse valley, a protected site and
wild. Other snowshoe routes are frequented in the valley.

To access Villars-Colmars, you can take the Allos pass, at 2250 meters above sea level if you come from Grenoble, Lyon, Paris. But we recommend that you go through Digne les Bains to avoid winding and narrow mountain roads. If you come from Nice you can take the National 202 or the Napoleon road and follow the lake of Castillon. From Marseille you will pass through Digne les Bains and Saint André les Alpes._P
During your stay, you can go to Nice by the Provence train and enjoy the Côte d'Azur and the Promenade des Anglais for a day.
