Annabell's Banksia Court Fraser Island

Located in the quiet 2nd Valley at Happy Valley, Banksia Court is a large modern townhouse, close to the beach (200m) as well as the local store & bistro at the Fraser Island Retreat.
Banksia Court is ideal for 2 or 3 families or a fishing group who appreciate a touch of luxury after a hard days fishing. It can sleep up to 11 people in 8 beds.
5 bedrooms, two with a queen beds, one with a single, one with a set of bunks and a 3rd on the lower ground floor with a queen bed & 2 single beds. Spacious open comfortable living room with a big flat screen TV (satellite reception) & DVD & CD player & drinks fridge. A large dining room and the kitchen has been refurbished & is equipped with a full range of utensils with new stainless steel appliances, gas stove and large electric refrigerator/freezer and a microwave and tuckerbox freezer.
A huge covered outdoor entainment area with stainless steel outdoor kitchen and BBQ and comfortable outdoor furniture.
The laundry has an automatic washing machine. Fans throughout incl. ceiling fans in 2 main bedrooms, living room and dining room.
Please note that Fraser Island is a remote location and there is no labour available for cleaning so we can only operate on a "self-clean basis". You are required to leave the house in the same state as it was presented to you.
Unfortunately there are no commercial laundries on Fraser Island so you must bring your own linen including top & bottom sheets, pillow cases & towels. Sleeping bags are not allowed. We supply pillows, blankets & tea towels.
We require a security deposit which may be used to recover cleaning and costs associated with non compliance with our linen requirements.

There is a large protected undercover entertainment area with stainless steel outdoor kitchen, gas BBQ and outdoor furniture which is ideal for entertaining large groups.
Power is supplied by state of art solar system with generator backup. Guests are requested not to bring any appliances with heating elements including hair dryers.
Banksia Court is ideal for multiple family groups.
As Happy Valley is centrally located on the Eastern Beach it is an great base for exploring all the beautifull lakes and features Fraser has to offer. It is also a handy spot to base yourself if you like chasing fish up and down the beach.
We have local Managers who live in Happy Valley and they can assist if you have any issues.

Anne has had a love affair with Fraser Island and honeymooned there with husband Scott.
After many years camping with the family, the 1st property "Banksia Court" was purchased in 1987. Since then 3 other properties, "Noller Place", "Parker Place" and "Beachbreak" were acquired in Happy Valley.
Anne has been running "Annabells Fraser Island Accommodation" since 1990 and enjoys helping visitors to the Island arrange their fun filled holidays.
She takes pride in ensuring all properties are fully equipped with all modern conveniences "just like home"!
