your pets are most welcome as their is a lovely pet yard with 1.8 m high fence. Trained pets are welcome inside but not on beds or couch.

Great base camp!

Very clean upon entering, pet yard a little smaller than we had originally thought, but did the job whilst we went out during the day. Great location and proximity to everything you need if going by foot, Master bed very comfortable and the fans worked an absolute trreat with the November heat! . Great parks along the water front if you have little ones, safe area with heaps of walking tracks, and water fountains along the way. Shower pressure was great! Probably the best weve had when hiring accommodation

Cosy property perfect for families

This compact two bedroom property was just what we needed to help make us feel at home. Specially since it was our children's first time travelling. It had everything we needed and was central to most things the Gold Coast had to offer. Chris was a friendly host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He also respected our privacy which was appreciated. We would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Great gettaway with kids and dog

Property exactly as listed. Walking distance to shops and places to eat so could keep things low key. Or Uber to other GC attractions. Musgrave park is a great offleash park for your dog. Kids loved the spa pool. Also fun to have an open fire. House had all we needed for a 5 night stay, with more time would have probably taken the kayak out on the river or had a bbq. Beds comfy. Netflix and wifi were appreciated. Would recommemd this listing.

Easy spot to holiday with pets

Chris’s place was in a convenient location. Close to foreshore for waking the dog and had takeaway shops and cafes within walking distance. Great spot to stay as a family that lives to travel with our dog.

Lovely little place to stay! Our little poodle cross loved the yard and we had everything we needed. Plenty of outdoor spaces surrounded by gorgeous gardens and tropical scenery. Location was perfect, close to everything we love about the Gold Coast. Thanks so much and we look forward to stay again!

Think about it.

The whole unit had an odour/musty smell to it, place very neglected, grubby, kitchen cupboards need to be sorted out instead of items just throw in any old place, inside the fridge hadn't been wiped out or cleaned. Microwave very average. It's overpriced for what you get. We actually came home a day earlier as my husbands Asthma was triggered by our stay. It's very close to restaurants cafes convenience store bakery Pharmacy newsagent etc. However our small dog was happy there.

Convenient location.

Check in was a breeze great instructions given by host Chris. Home is practical and a little different. The yard will only suit a small dog. Heating and cooling are very good. Hot water is great. The only criticism we have and it is minor.... the home smelled musty or of wood smoke (there is an open fireplace). Chris is a very responsive host and will do all he can to make your stay pleasant. There are 2 properties on the same block attached to each other but with totally private entrances.

Perfect environment especially with a dog.

Fabulous location, close to all you might need to have couples break, family holiday, or work from home situation. Terrific music cafe, Ground & Sound 2 mins walk with plenty on throughout the week, well worth a visit. We had a dog with us and she was comfortable roaming safely in and out of the unit, as the area is totally secure and has a small dog door. Very well appointed and maintained. Chris is Fabulous and available if ever you need him. We loved the area so much, relocating to it. Would highly recommend this stay.

A Great Little Vila close to Shops, Beaches and Activities

The property was nice enough and the owner provided almost all the stuff that was mentioned on the website. There were some insect problems due to the location next to the water but all in all it allowed us to enjoy our stay in Southport.

Pet friendly near restaurants

Great pet friendly villa very easy walk to shops and restaurants. Clean and modern accommodation. Needed insect spray outside as midgies were around but otherwise a comfortable stay.
