This is a great place for the family, including the fury family members with a fully fenced back yard. The house is well equipped and has great spaces for all. The beach is a short drive away with ample parking. We had a really lovely time.

Amazing stay in Redhead

Property was much bigger than we expected with large dining and living spaces. Very clean and well equipped with everything we could need. The only downside was the beds were a little on the smaller size and not the most comfortable. Host is very responsive and helpful.

Perfect accommodation for our large family group attending a wedding in Redhead. Very spacious, well presented house, beds were extremely comfortable and we appreciated amount of seating for our group to sit around and chat. Centrally within walking distance to bakery and cafe. Only a 5 minute drive to Redhead beach. Craig our host was very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property in a great position. Plenty of space and different areas to accommodate both adults, teenagers and children. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry lovely and easy to use. Great for big families

My family of 7 adults, 1 child, and 1 dog enjoyed our 3-night stay at The Original Redhead Beach House. The kitchen was fully equipped, the lounge area was spacious and comfortable, and the backyard was beautifully trimmed. Towels and an extra bathroom upstairs would have made it perfect but they were minor inconveniences.

Family gatherings

The property was clean, beds comfortable and basic facilities were adequate. The cupboards throughout the house were all locked with only 1 hanging rack available in the upstairs bedroom. There were no towels provided. We were notified of this on our arrival day, as the inclusions stated linens we wrongly assumed they were supplied. The upstairs coffee table had the glass with cracks throughout it. The ceiling above the fireplace was open and rain was over the fireplace as a result. There were personal items throughout the house and in the draws, which we felt should of been packed away.

Hi Patrica Sorry to hear you weren’t completely satisfied with the house, we have been inviting guests into our house for the last 16 years and we work very hard to have house perfect for our visitors, we do live in the house permanently and move out when we have guests, the small leak above fireplace from the chimney has been fixed a few times but with the amount of rain in the last 12 months it leaks when we have very heavy rain as we had when you stayed for 2 nights, the glass on the timber coffee table has been cracked by other guests but is not any danger to anyone, we have ordered a new piece, sorry there wasn’t enough hanging space for you 2 nights stay this is the first time anyone has complained about it. As for a few personal items which I’m not sure want you mean by that but as I said before we live here permanently and we do our best to make shaw house is very clean for guests arriving.
