Second stay at Sekitei

I travel to Sutherland once a year for work. Sekitei is a fantastic stay with everything I need. Michi is wonderful to deal with and very responsive with her communication.

A good stay

The accommodation is wonderfully tranquil, and its location is incredibly convenient, just a 10-minute stroll from both the train station and local shops. The communication with the host was excellent throughout my stay.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Sekitei. Everything was exactly as represented and the location was very quiet while still being close to shops and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would be very happy to stay again.

A most enjoyable stay

A delightful studio apartment in which to spend a couple of days. It had everything we could ask for, and more: cleanliness, comfort, serenity and ambience, as well as convenient distance to the city, coast and National Park. Michi is a thoughtful and welcoming host.

Nice and private with a great host

Had a great relaxing stay here with my dog. Michi was a lovely host, and also has a cute friendly greyhound. The room is seperate from the main house and private, with a handy off leash dog park around the corner

The check in process and communication was flawless. The Owner/Manager was pleasant, efficient, helpful, and considerate in all respects, eager to assist! The suite was private, clean, well-equipped and aesthetically attractive. Neighborhood was safe, clean, and close to amenities and transit.

Beautiful stay with our puppy

Beautiful, quiet, tucked away accomodation with space for our pet Kelpie to run around in the fenced property. With a dog park around the corner, our puppo enjoyed the stay just as much as us! Michi was such a generous, kind, helpful host and we felt comfortable from the second we got there. Even provided treats for our dog! The location is awesome, a short walk to the train station and shops. Couldn’t recommend more highly and will be back in future!

All you can ask for

This was a great experience. Owners were amazing. Very close to all destindations we needed. This property was very peaceful and we felt so comfortable it was just what we needed. I have 2 small dogs who thought it was a great place to stay and were made to feel very welcome. I will be booking for any occasion that I need to spend time in Sydney. Absolutely beautiful

Absolutely pet friendly, immaculately clean and welcoming. Wonderful contact with Michi and was greeted by Russell at the time of my arrival. My staffy, Queen 13, was greeted wonderfully by Russell and was told ' this is your front yard' once she was out of the car 💖 There was very comfortable and welcoming conversation and I was informed of anything I needed to know while I was there. I have not one thing to complain about with either the hosts or the property. I needed this time for quiet thoughts and to spend time alone with my senior fur-baby and this is exactly the place for that. I would lnot hesitate to go again in the future with my Queen

Private and quiet

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sekitei. proximity to dog park a bonus, and nearby Sutherland is a source of a range of cuisines. The room has a most comfortable bed Sekitei was ideal for me and my kelpie Charlie as a base for my time in Sydney. I would recommend most highly except I want to return later in the year! thanks again Michi, Russ and Brin.

A hidden gem in the Shire so close to the Royal National Park. Cronulla train line (T4) handy. Coles, Woollies, Aldi and Dan Murphy's close by.Great hosts that at the same property, but you never see them, handy if you need something.

A very unique place

A lot of effort has been made to try and give the perception that you are in Japan. An added extra was the street coming alive at night with several houses doing great Christmas lights displaysgetting into the Christmas sprif
