Wow, this place was beautiful. Private, quiet and a real place to disconnect. You can stay in and listen to the rain or adventure into the national park. Arrived to a beautiful place that instantly makes you feel at home. So many nice personal touches, from the garlic, fresh bread, scrabble, throw rugs, heaters. Tv and wifi easy to use.Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great stay at the property for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Alex was a great host, and the property was really well appointed and very private. We loved the peaceful location, wandered down to the wharf at the end of the street for a drink and snack at sunset, and an easy and beautiful walk in to Bundeena for coffee.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 9 days (we came from the US) and our stay was absolutely amazing. We loved it so much! Alex answered all of our questions very quickly and even held packages for us until we could retrieve them. The check in process was so easy, the home was spotless and had cleaning products available for use (including laundry and dishwasher detergents). There was even shampoo, conditioner, body wash and some misc. toiletries available as well! The washer/ dryer combo was easy to use as well. Parking was so awesome, we parked right outside the gate. The kitchen was equipped with literally everything you’d need to cook meals. Alex made fresh baked bread which was absolutely delicious! The garden is absolutely gorgeous! We enjoyed all of the natural light the property offers, the sounds of the birds outside, the smell of the garden! It was like we were in our own little world. There’s a little town called Bundeena a short drive down the road which is right on the water. The town offers a gas station, coffee shops, restaurants that sell a great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grocery store/ liquor store in the town has everything you’d need as well. The trail heads are right in the town as well! The train station is right outside of the park, we took the train to Sydney a few times as well. It was super easy! We absolutely loved our stay and would stay here over and over again! The accomodation was even more lovely than the photos. It feels very fancy, yet homely! The space is bright and sun-filled, with a beautiful private garden. It’s a lovely place to stay in to cook, drink, read, hangout with and relax in the garden area. The location was speculated and private. We saw a bandicoot one night in the yard at night.

This location is an excellent base for accessing local activities such as, swimming kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and all water sports (5-minute walk away). Other local activities include bush walks, cycling, mountain biking trails, and observing local birds and native wildlife.

Nearby beaches such as Maianbar spit (10-minute walk from Garden Studio), Bonnievale, Hordern’s, Jibbon, and Wattamolla offer many opportunities for swimming, and the local surf break is nearby at Cronulla (40 min drive).
