Your boutique suite is located in one of the suburb's most prized rows of Terraces, known as the Paris end of Surry Hills. Step out the front door to enjoy the many delights of the neighbourhood. More than a nightlife, foodie and shopping destination, Surry Hills lays claim to being Sydney’s most eclectic and intriguing village. 

The space
While located within a heritage building, the room has been updated with modern fixings allowing you to live like a local, while enjoying hotel-style comforts.

The suite’s 26m2 floor plan includes an ensuite bathroom, bar fridge, kettle, free wifi and a 55-inch smart TV for streaming your own Netflix, Apple, Stan, Prime, Binge, Spotify etc.

Enjoy a morning coffee from the Nespresso machine or choose from an abundance of local cafes, including the original Bourke Street Bakery or the coffee aficionados at Artificer.

Come home at the end of a busy day of exploring or working to a comfortable king-sized bed with luxurious French linens and towels provided. 

The ensuite bathroom includes a shower and WC. Quality guest amenities provided include AESOP shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, body lotion, toilet paper, tissues and paper towels. A door to the WC has been recently installed for added privacy.

An additional King Size Single bed is available to be made up on request for a 3rd guest or friends travelling together.

The room maintains a pleasant temperature throughout the seasons and has a powerful ceiling fan and underfloor heating. There is no Air Conditioning.

Travelling for business? The new Sydney eastern light rail is a short stroll away and will take you direct to Circular Quay via Sydney Central Station or to Sydney’s eastern suburbs in the other direction. Located 10 minutes from the city and 15 minutes from Sydney's domestic and international airports, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more central location.

With the new Allianz Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, Fox Studios, Hordern Pavillion and Moore Park Golf Course (with a driving range) all within short walking distance, you will not need a car for this visit! 

For your safety, security cameras are located at the entry doors external to this property.

Guest access
This suite is for your exclusive access and is closed off from the rest of the house to ensure your privacy. There is a security gate and an additional door. Please note that there are 4 steps down to the front entry.

Also note that your suite is part of an active family home, in a vibrant street. If you require absolute privacy, or cannot tolerate any noise, this property may not be suitable for you.

Please note the following House Rules before booking:

1. No smoking.
There is to be absolutely no smoking/vaping inside, outside or in front of the property.  Breaking this rule will incur a $300 fine plus the cost to clean and deodorise the property.

2. Strict no-parties policy.
No parties are permitted at any time. No unregistered guests are allowed. Any extra overnight visitors must be approved in advance and will have to pay an extra fee as set out in our rates. It is the responsibility of the guest who made the booking to ensure that any visitor/s also complies with our house rules

3. Pets.
No pets are allowed unless approved prior to booking.

4. Children.
We welcome children of all ages. Supervision of children around stairs, balconies, roads, and all areas of the property and surrounds are the sole responsibility of accompanying parents/guardians.

5. Please minimise noise between 10PM to 6AM. No excessive music or loud noise between 10PM to 6AM to ensure our neighbours can enjoy a night of undisturbed sleep. If any neighbours report excessive noise, your stay could be terminated and you’ll be asked to leave our property. Should this happen, it will result in a loss of the full reservation amount and be liable for any additional call-out fees due to complaints.

Three days in Sydney

Host could not have been nicer; really helped us out by holding our bags when we arrived before check-in...made it easy to start seeing the area right away. Location is on a very picturesque, quiet street. Less than 10 minute walk to corner cafe or pub or light rail station. Room fit the bill for us as clean comfortable place to just sleep and get ready for the next day.

AMAZING - loved it so much!

My daughters and I absolutely loved our stay here. So lucky to have found this property. It was immaculately clean, very secure with lockboxes and codes for entry, super comfortable beds and extras like T2 tea and nespresso coffee machine. Location was so central for exploring the city and it's in a beautiful tree lined street. Our hosts could not be more friendly or helpful...can't wait to visit again and highly recommend this as a great place to stay..thanks Senta to you and your mum who was super helpful and fun.

Stayed 2 nights over the weekend. Location was ideal for our stay, with easy access to city and Moore Park stadiums. Neighbourhood was a quiet pocket of an otherwise, vibrant suburb, with a wide range of restaurants, cafes and pubs. Accommodation was well appointed and spotless, with some nice touches added by our host. Also, from a practical perspective, two really important considerations - the bed was huge and very comfortable, the shower was hot with good water pressure. We’d happily stay again.

Great spot with incredibly helpful host!

I booked this room pretty last minute for my trip to Sydney. I didn’t know which area would be best, but it ended up being the perfect location. Quiet at night, close to many restaurants and grocery stores and only a short walk to downtown/harbor area. Senta sent me a lot of information upon my arrival with information on beaches, public transportation, and was very understanding when I had flight delays and showed up late and had to have a later checkout. Would definitely stay here again :)

Perfect Holiday in a Perfect Neighbourhood

Can’t get much better than this! Senta went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable & homely as possible. My stay here was fantastic! Beautiful little studio apartment tucked into one of the best neighborhoods (Surry hills) in Sydney. Walkable to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, & the tram. Senta, the host, was a communicative, kind, considerate host with a fun spirit & she set up the place with a high attention to detail. Big comfy bed, spacious closet, great shower with wonderful soaps, fairy lights & an iPod for some tunes. Security gate made me feel super safe as well! Impeccably clean stylish pad in a funky place of town

The room is exactly as described and shown in the pictures (including the complimentary wine and coffee 😊). It is immaculately clean, with a large comfortable bed, good quality linen and thoughtful lighting). The shower is hot and powerful and high end toiletries are provided. I had a really love stay, it’s a great location. Both room and area feels safe as a solo traveller-separate double locked entrance. Quirky independent shops and cafes nearby. Fantastic property and Beat Host Ever!

The property is completely as advertised, great little spot in an awesome corner of Sydney, a real neighbourhood. Great spots to eat and transit close by enabled us to get to Bondi, Watson's Bay, and the Harbour Front/Rocks. But Ssenta, your host is the most thoughtful and helpful host we have ever had. Even though she was on vacation with her fam, she checked in with us to make sure we were ok and finding our way around. When I asked about places to eat, she provided a long list, they were all lovely places (we didn't have time to eat at them all but walked by several that looked really good). Honestly, she couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful, genuinely wanted us to enjoy the bezt of Sydney. This was a great start to our Australian adventure, and o e of bezt stays anywhere, I can't recommend this property, and our host, highly enough.

Beautiful little studio in the one of the most beautiful areas of Sydney - Surry Hills. Very scenic and situated in a grand terrace house. The place is roomy and beautifully furnished and designed with all the little details adding a homely and well thought out touch. King sized bed was amazing and cozy with lovely linens. Nothing cheap has been used here! Senta was friendly and welcoming. There was a little bit of noise on the Friday night due a party nearby and people walking past on the street, but Senta makes this clear in the profile. It wasn't too bad as I got to sleep fairly easily.

Exceeded Expectations

I had not been to Sydney for over 20 years and had never stayed in Surrey Hills. I came to check out the city and go to a few World Cup soccer games. Upon arrival, my host made sure that I was comfortable and well-informed about the area. I was welcomed with snacks and a bottle of wine. The snacks saved me because my flight came in so late and I had had nothing to eat. My host, Senta, kept in touch with me throughout my stay, and made sure that all of my questions were answered. She provided me with adapters for the outlets, amazing coffee, and even left me a bakery item on the doorstep that first morning. I unfortunately got sick one night, and Setna went above and beyond, leaving tea to settle my tummy and hydration tablets on my doorstep! The bed was so perfectly comfortable and warm, and the room was so relaxing. I was able to get into vacation mode the moment I walked in the door, The storage space was also fantastic, because I didn’t have to continue to go through my bags throughout my stay. Discovering Surrey Hills, and the surrounding area was quite easy. I could easily walk downtown, and even to one of the soccer venues. Surrey Hills is a very friendly neighborhood. I felt safe traveling alone and can’t wait to come back again. Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful home and leaving me with wonderful memories of a beautiful city.

Wir hatten schon im Vorfeld der Reise viele hilfreiche Infos und Tipps von Senta erhalten und auch das freundliche Angebot unsere Koffer morgens nach der Ankunft abzustellen. Die Lage in der ruhigen Straße im schönen Surry Hills ist hervorragend und der Stadtteil bietet tolle Möglichkeiten für Frühstück und Dinner direkt um die Ecke. Zimmer: gemütliches Bett, Bad okay, da Souterrain auf Dauer etwas dunkel, aber angenehme Temperatur (im Sommer aber möglicherweise ohne AC schwierig), empfindliche Menschen könnte eventuell der Trittschall von oben stören. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Sydney.
