Gated front yard; private secure backyard. The detached garage and off street parking space is reserved for owner's access and sole use. Home is professionally cleaned.
Walk, bike or take Marguerite transport to Stanford. Walk to grocers and popular Stanford eating establishments. Five (5) minutes to Stanford Shopping Center restaurants and stores (Apple). Easy scenic Highway 280 access to San Francisco, Carmel, Santa Cruz and coastal beaches or Caltrain to the San Francisco. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very clean, tastefully furnished, cosy, we found everything we needed, e.g. in the kitchen, lovely little garden, very quiet despite excellent location near Standord Campus and Sand Hill Road. Safe parking of the car in the street near house without problems.

Great home close to Stanford

This is an impeccably maintained cottage in a very quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Stanford. Beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Lovely grounds with tangerine, lemon and orange trees. I would have given 5 stars but the property is advertised as having a spa but guests cannot use it. I would def stay here again

Relaxing home

We rented the house while my father was in the hospital at Stanford. It worked out so well to have a nice cozy home that was close by the hospital to go back and forth. It is in a quiet neighborhood and was quick for us to get to the shopping center and restaurants or go for a neighborhood walk. Allie was very responsive and a great host! We would recommend the house and appreciate our time there.

Perfect stay in a great location

From the moment my son and I entered the property we had a feeling that this place was going to be a perfect stay. From the cozy living area to the perfectly equipped kitchen to the lovely bedrooms with excellent beds. The outside area was also lovely and very quiet. Unfortunately we had bad weather so we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside. We would definitely like to stay here again. U can tell that the owner wants the guests to have a home away from home feeling. It worked totally for us!

The house was a perfect location while our teen was at a camp at Stanford for 2 weeks. We enjoyed the quiet, walkable neighborhood with quick access to campus, downtown Menlo Park and Palo Alto, and numerous trails. The house was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen, and house in general, were very well equipped for a longer trip. The desk area was helpful for work for a few remote work days and the patio and immaculate yard were lovely for sitting outside and relaxing.We only needed to contact the host once for a very minor issue and she responded quickly. We would definitely return if staying in the area again.

Visit with daughter at Stanford

My daughter at Stanford had to have surgery so I came out to help her. This house was perfect in every way. It was close to the campus and her dorm, but was also the perfect setting for her to relax and recoup. The house is perfectly appointed and had various cozy locations to relax, from the tv room, breakfast nook and various out door locations. The kitchen was well stocked and I was able to make her some home made meals. I look forward to coming back and staying here again when we are back to visit her!

A terrific, elegant, and inviting home

I have heard about the California lifestyle, its ease and beauty, and this was my first chance to live it.This house invites a terrific experience. The setting, the furnishings, the artwork, the ambience, the location, all conspired to make this a fabulous stay. I would come back again and again if I could. The home itself is wonderfully appointed, from the comfortable chairs on the front porch, to the wonderfully well stocked kitchen to the shady outdoor table our back. We had a great and memorable time. I give this my biggest recommendation.
