Alas Resort Glenhaven

We are excited to have you visiting Glenhaven!
We are a breakfast and bed with a host / manager onsite, we feature free breakfast on the first stay only we also offer a complimentary red / white wine on the first night or if you prefer a sparkling cider instead please let us know, breakfast is served before 9 am if you do not have a order in before 10 pm the night of arrival than the offer will be dismissed and if the guest would prefer to have any housekeeping please let us know before 10 am. You and your guest have your own studio with a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a big jacuzzi tub and a standup / sit in bench shower available with a California king bed. Private driveway with a gate that keeps your car / boat safe and here you will enjoy your own personal barbecue area with a patio on your very own driveway and of course a private entrance in a secluded country setting, we feature hiking with A private area on the lake shore where you can swim and or you can make sand castles, if you prefer.
Remember you are at the lake, so there is dangerous animals such as deer, turkey, and rattlesnakes !
So please use caution ! There are places you can rent boats in the next town upperlake, there are many casinos, and many Ma & Pa restaurants , around the Lake.

Greatly disappointed!

We looked at listing and thought we were overlooking the lake. Listing states it sleeps 4. There is no way one could fit another bed comfortably inside the room. Studio is part of home where owner has very young children and yells at them throughout the day. Baby cries periodically and the studio is actually an added room on the house. The owner TV was blaring all night and there is no relaxation because of noise. The lake is across the street and there is no view from studio. The owner did serve wine. The owner offered breakfast but we were nervous about it. There is nice bed and very nice bathroom. You will not be able to have quiet and be able to relax.

The studio is attached to the house, breakfast is served in the room for convenience, studio is kid friendly as posted, the guest did ask me if they were on the lake and I explained to them it wasn't on the lake it was across the street they chose to be here with that knowledge, breakfast is served free and yes I did serve wine, when visiting here please be verbal and I can make adjustments but please communicate without proper communication I have no idea how the stay is, due to the corona I have made my own adjustments to continue to raise my daughter and my grandson VRBO is very kind and very communicative when it comes to families and people stays and that's why I chose this company thank you!

Mid week getaway

Needed to get out of town and de-stress. The lake was low but we enjoyed some great weather and casinos. The jacuzzi tub and shower are huge. Bed comfy and room easily accessible. Had a great stay
