A very well maintained property and clean, welcoming, equipped cabin. Excellent support from the property management team and owner, who all went above and beyond to accommodate our stay, without being overbearing. Absolute magic and convenience for small to medium sized groups skiing/riding the local resort. Thanks again everyone!

Holiday Weekend Trip
We booked the cabin for a last minute holiday getaway. Best decision ever! The cabin was so cozy and very clean. It was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We appreciated the proximity to Blue Mountain as we spent Sunday on MTB trails and Monday at the ropes course. Our teenagers loved the game room. We'll definitely be back!

Nice, but....
The cabin was the perfect size and set up. There are several reasons we would not recommend though: could not find towels so messaged owner-they were still wet in the washing machine and smelled!, carpenter bees swarming at entrance upon arrival-after requesting someone to come out and take care of it multiple timrs-nothing, so you could not sit outside!, the cleaning is not good at all- had to wipe down all surfaces-did share this and sent a picture to owner, and the floors creak-this is not just a creak here and there-this is literally every step you take and at night it seems even louder as you are trying not to wake others! This could be a perfect rental, but....
My husband and I took our 4yr old daughter to the poconos for skiing. House was beautiful and clean. Close to the blue mountain resort. You could see the lights from the resort at night time out the back door. We had a great time skiing and snow tubing. Floors were squeaky so if your a light sleeper you definitely want to bring ear plugs especially if you go to bed before other people and the beds were a little too firm for my liking but I would stay at this house again. I love log cabins and what’s better than staying in a cabin in the mountains.
We have stayed at this cabin several times now as part of ski trips to Blue Mountain Resort. The cabin is clean and cozy. However, the kitchen could use a major restock of essential items - pans, utensils, etc. When we arrived there was no dish soap and an old sponge used by the previous renters. The bathrooms did not have enough linens provided. There was no laundry detergent, despite it being provided in previous years. For those who travel long distances to reach the cabin (like us), having these essentials provided makes a huge difference. Otherwise, the cabin is a lovely stay with beautiful views.

Perfect getaway
This cabin was perfect! The view of blue mountain was great to look at all lit up at night and snow makers on in the morning.
There is a ton of resturants to choose from. Neighborhood was quiet but comforting to still see neighboring houses.
The cutest cabin.
Very warm and cozy.

Very nice!
It is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting. Everything was clean and very neat. The bathrooms are clean but not safe from slipping; rugs without non-slip backing, no shower/bath mats, and no safety grip bars. Only one set of towels per person provided so if you like to use fresh towels daily bring additional or plan to do laundry every day. Bring all your toiletries, including soap. Otherwise, We would give it a five star rating.
Nice property, close to town and Blue Mtn. Perfect location for our MTB getaway! Quiet neighborhood and plenty of room to unwind after a hard day of riding.
Family had a great thanksgiving staying at this beautiful cabin. Thanks so much for sharing your property with us!

Fantastic & comfortable
All the comforts of home but in log cabin form. We absolutely loved our stay, it was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we all needed. Excited to go again!
The house/cabin is lovely, well-appointed, well furnished. However, the place is noisy: doors squeak, floors creak, every noise carries throughout the unit. Maybe some rugs would help muffle all the squeaks and creaks.
The serene drive up the hill, lead us to this little Nirvana. The quality of everything in the house was top of the line, and inside was pristine. Great location to Beltzville State Park and Jim Thorpe, which we did manage to visit, but the chalet was so cozy we didn't want to leave! The online pictures are beautiful, but the real thing is even more impressive because you see the care that has gone into everything placed in the house. Dottie, the property manager was also top of the line...friendly, helpful and easily accessible.
Just one annoyance...trash night is once a week, and the guests before us had an obscene amount of trash. When we arrived both garbage bins were filled to the very top, and the overflow of cake boxes, packaging from many random toys, cereal boxes.... were left piled up on the side next to them. Trash night fell on the day after we arrived and I lugged the bins to the street, after they were emptied I put all their other trash back into the bins. Cleaning up and disposing of other people's garbage isn't fun.
Despite the waste disposal situation, I still give it 5 stars and can't wait to stay here again!
My husband and I took our 16 year old daughter and two of her friends for a snow tubing weekend. We really loved our stay at the Palmerton cabin. The home was clean, cozy and well appointed! We also loved how close it was to Blue Mountain where we tubed and enjoyed dinner. Our contact person was very responsive. Highly recommend this property and would stay there again!
An idea for single parents, and their older teenagers.
I’m a single Mom of 2 teenagers that are almost 17, and one 21 years old. They absolutely loved hanging out in the basement playing their video games, and being away from their Mama.
On the first floor we all played board games, and being together as a family should be was a wonderful feeling with laughter. At home everyone goes their own way. The two bedrooms was a big help for my 21 years old, and I. My twins loved sleeping up on the loft, and having their own bathroom.
The only recommendation that I have for the owners: 2 trash bags, one more dish washing soap. One extra pillow cases for each pillow. One pillow was missing a pillow case.
Magnet for the shower curtain, so the water doesn’t drip out. Recycling bins, so people don’t need to take their recycling home. Over all I rate your place an A-
