Treehouse Studio at the fabulous Wategos Beach

Nestled in the forest just under the Cape Byron Lighthouse, the studio accommodation provides the most private and secluded guest quarters at Wategos Beach, just 10 minutes from Byron Bay. The Studio is set in lush tropical gardens and is a 3 minute stroll to the world famous sands of Wategos Beach.

This spacious accommodation is truly a unique experience capturing the essence of the Byron lifestyle. Prepare to feel very relaxed and at peace in the 'Treehouse' retreat; a place to recharge and enjoy the presence of your loved one. The loft bedroom offers ocean glimpses and provides a real 'treetops' feel.

Direct access to the beach is down a tree-lined pathway through the public reserve opposite the studio. Byron Bay is just a 5-minute drive away or a 25 minute walk along the Cape Byron Headland track via the Pass, Byron Bays renowned surfing spot.

The studio is available for couples only seeking peace and quiet, close to one of Australia's most famous beaches.

Unique and very comfortable accommodation easy walking distance to Wategos beach. This property is an easy 2min walk to Wategos beach with easy access to the lighthouse and Bryon Bay town walks. Close to cafes and restaurants. A car is not required to get around.

This Wategos Beach treehouse is everything you dream of in a VRBO. The house is so cool, airy, stylish and eclectic in all the best ways. But also very clean and comfortable with every modern amenity. The best part it is only a short walk down to my new favorite beach. That water! What a way to spend a vacation at the beach. Also, great walks with amazing views right out your door. Amazing stay.

A week at watego's

Beautiful spot with easy beach access up a bush track. We spent nearly every day at the beach. Sadly, the walking track to the cape/lighthouse was closed but still possible to walk alongside the road. The treehouse is sweet and well equipped for a week's stay. Christine & Oliver were lovely hosts and very friendly. Looking forward to coming back next time we're in the area.

Perfect holiday spot

This week delivered everything it promised. The communication with the owners was easy and swift, and the instructions about how to find and access the house very clear. The website pics and words gave a perfect description of the place. The location is superb - one street back from Wategos Beach (you can hear the ocean!), via a bush path, meaning easy access without all the people! The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom had everything we needed, and the upstairs bedroom, with its four-poster bed and mosquito netting, very comfortable.

We absolutely loved the treehouse studio. The bedroom with white bed curtains felt like a blissful sleep inducing haven! It was so perfect for our babymoon vacay. Everything well thought out including parking and lots of books and dvds to borrow. Personally I loved reading the book about Byron from a photographic viewpoint.

The property was absolutely stunning. Beautifully designed and constructed with heaps of character, super comfy bed, tons of books and a few games for when the rain arrived. We loved Wategos Treehouse!

We spent three glorious days here at the end of May, when we were fortunately still enjoying amazingly warm weather. The treehouse was perfect. We wandered along to the lighthouse; over the pass for coffee; down to Harvest Café for lunch; lots of swimming and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets on the beach, before wandering through the forest back to the treehouse. The facilities were just what we needed for a short break; lovely comfortable bed, good little kitchen, with dishwasher and a lovely front deck. We'll definitely be back.
