Reservation & Compliance

To keep things smooth and simple, all guests are asked to complete a brief Short-Term Rental Agreement, sign electronically, and our secure Guest Portal within 24 hours of booking. This includes uploading a copy of the primary guest’s driver’s license.

This step confirms your stay, locks in your dates, and helps us stay in full compliance with our HOA and Clatsop County short-term rental requirements, including quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You may receive automatic reminders until everything is completed. If we do not receive the required information, we may be unable to honor the reservation, so thank you in advance for your prompt attention.​

House Rules
These guidelines help ensure a relaxing, respectful stay for you, our neighbors, and future guests.

Quiet Hours

Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, in line with County rules.​

Outdoor voices, music, and activities should be kept low during these hours so everyone can enjoy a peaceful night.​

Fire Pit

Please fully extinguish any fires in the outdoor fire pit by 10:00 PM.

Make sure the fire is completely out before heading inside for the night.

Hot Tub & Patio

You’re welcome to enjoy the hot tub and patio after 10:00 PM as long as noise stays very low and does not disturb neighbors, per HOA expectations.​

No loud music, parties, or shouting in these areas at any time.

Pets-We happily welcome pre-approved, non-shedding dogs under 50 lb.
All pets must be requested and approved before check-in; please reach out in advance so we can confirm details with you.​ No Cats are allowed in or on the property.

Respect for Neighbors

This is a quiet, family-friendly community. Please be considerate with sound, parking, and general behavior at all times.​

Verified noise complaints may result in an immediate $750 fine.

Visitors

For safety, security, and HOA compliance, only registered guests are allowed on the property.

No visitors or unregistered guests are permitted at any time; violations may result in immediate eviction and a $1,000 fine.

Accommodations

RVs, motorhomes, campers, and tents are not allowed on the property or used for sleeping, per County and HOA rules.​

All overnight guests must sleep inside the home in approved sleeping areas.

Security

Exterior security cameras operate 24/7 for safety and to protect both guests and the property.

There are no cameras inside the home or in private areas.

Events

To keep things peaceful for everyone, no events, parties, weddings, or receptions are permitted on the property.​

The home is intended for registered guests only, for quiet vacation use.

The property is perfect for gathering with family and the location is perfect for uncrowded fun. I'm not sure what the kids enjoyed more, chasing waves at the beach or paddling around the lake in a canoe!

Fantastic lake house that has it all!

We’ve been lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home multiple times. Each year we come back there’s something new to enhance your stay. I think we did most of it this trip again- fishing, kayaks, hot tub, game room, grill, etc! The house is always very clean and well stocked with any kitchen appliances you might need, too. We love to stay here!

This place was perfect for our 6 women adventure group. It has a beautiful setting with plenty of activities at the home and property. We did many of the activities at the house and there were still many more we could have chosen. The site of the home is in a great place-we did activities in Astoria, Seaside, Cannon Beach and the beaches at all, as well as drove to Tillamook Factory. Easily reached our host and received helpful answers, a generous host to share this wonderful vacation home!

This is a great property for a large group. Right on the lake - lots of gear for water sports. Pool and ping pong tables. A game room. This place had it all. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend!

We have never seen a home with more amenities than this home! The owners covered every base imaginable!! There is every game for every age there, a jungle gym, water sport equipment and the kitchen equipment for coffee and cooking rivals any home!! The home rates a solid 10!!

Great Lakehouse

This was our second stay here, and won't be our last. This house has everything. Even rainy days are good days here. The covered patio, hot tub, fire table and outdoor kitchen are a big plus. We saw wildlife every day in the yard. What a treat! Inside the house there is so much to do also, with video games, foosball, pool, ping pong, etc. Being on the lake instead of the beach also has an advantage: virtually no wind. The beach is close by, too.

Peaceful lakeside retreat

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside property. Very clean, well maintained and with a really well stocked kitchen. Lots of amenities and many options in the game room. The host was very easy to reach and extremely helpful to get us settled in, a big thank you to him for making our stay as memorable as possible. Our family traveled the Oregon Coast from north to south, Astoria to Brookings, to explore the Oregon Coast. We settled on the Surf Pines Community and have lakefront property.

We built our lake house around 2003. I grew up at this house, making memories of my entire childhood with my friends' family members, and around 2010 we decided to open our home so other families could experience the property and make memories with their family and friends.

We hope you will enjoy our lake house and come back to visit often and tell your friends and family.

Plan the perfect family reunion, no matter what state you're in!

There is something to do for everyone in your group with private gatherings, a quiet gated community, and one-acre lakefront property with multiple amenities!

If your family enjoys deep sea fishing, the City of Warrenton has charter fishing boats depending on the season. My dad and I went Sturgeon fishing in Astoria, and we each caught a Sturgeon over 5 feet long. In addition, there are two golf courses within a mile from the house, an 18-hole Golf course, and a 9-hole Golf Course.

We are only 4 miles away north of Seaside, where your family can spend time playing miniature golf, bumper cars, tilt-a-whirl, and, let's not forget, the outlet malls! Also, the city of Astoria is 5 miles north of us, and you can climb up the famous Astoria Column.

What makes this property unique


Our guests refer to our vacation rental as " The Ultimate Family Reunion." There are multiple reasons why, and we encourage you to read our online guest reviews.

Hence, for any gatherings excluding children and family get-togethers, prior approval is mandatory. Interested parties must send an inquiry before booking, and additional security fees might be imposed if the reservation falls outside our established guidelines. Rest assured, we thoroughly scrutinize all bookings to ensure they align with our Short-Term Permit guidelines. We are determined not to let disruptive guests spoil the experience for subsequent arrivals.

Our lake house is located on a one-acre parcel in a private gated community called Surf Pines and backs into Sunset Lake. We have a 30' floating dock, two 17 canoes, a four-passenger paddle boat, two paddleboards, three kayaks, and a 12-foot aluminum fishing boat with a trolling motor. A Swedish Sauna, a professional pool table, a PlayStation III (with games), a Wii console (with games), an Xbox 360 (with games), a volleyball court, a Foosball table, ping pong, and the amenities go on and on……

There is a Costco, Walmart, Starbucks, Fred Meyer, and Subway about a mile away, or if you like fishing, you might catch your dinner right in our backyard!
