Beautiful views of the O'Connell valley towards the Fish river for which the visitor has private access of over 2kms river frontage for picnics, fishing or leisurely walks.
There are 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed - 2 single beds, with electric blankets, doonas and all linen supplied.
The sitting room has a wood heater, air conditioning and comfortable sofas to relax on. There is a digital TV with DVD, & Radio, CD & Bluetooth and many magazines, books & games to enjoy.
The fully equipped Kitchen has all you need if you are cooking a family roast or just enjoying a quick snack.
Outside there is a barbecue with gas supplied.
The Bathroom has a shower and vanity, heated towel racks, wall heater and Washing machine with washing powder supplied.
The north facing verandah is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view or watch the setting sun.
The cottage is 1 km to the O'Connell Hotel which offers great "Pub" meals and the O'Connell Avenue Cafe opposite which is open for delicious breakfasts and lunches from Friday to Sunday

The famous cool climate Mayfield Gardens are 20 minutes away. They are open every day to view their famous “Water Garden” and there is a delicious cafe and nursery attached
Jenolan Caves is 1 1/4 hours away via Oberon
Fishing is available on your own private stretch of the Fish river - over 2kms, and at the Oberon and nearby Chifley dams. Otherwise, take a picnic and enjoy the natural beauty of the our river. You never know your luck - you may see the resident platypus!
