About this property
Reynolds Cottage Woodend
Reynolds Cottage was built in 1892 and is one of Woodend's oldest homes.
Reynolds Cottage is the perfect place to stay for a getaway break, special event or visit to family and friends. Cool in Summer, cozy in Winter, Reynolds Cottage offers great accommodation for couples, families and groups in a restored miner's cottage in the heart of Woodend.
Reynolds Cottage provides flexible accommodation and sleeping arrangements for up to 5 people. The cottage is fully self-contained and our rates include generous breakfast provisions should you choose to eat in.
Whatever your reasons for visiting, our guests tell us that once you arrive at Reynolds Cottage, you won't want to leave.
Laze by the Reynolds Cottage fire, read a good book in the garden, watch a movie, cook a gourmet meal - and when you're ready to get out and about, there's plenty to do:
Climb Hanging Rock, visit a local winery, explore by bike or on horseback, plan a day hike, visit Woodend's High Street for that perfect piece for the house or your wardrobe, take the little ones to the children's adventure playground, or join the locals in a Woodend eatery for coffee, a glass of wine, a cleansing ale or a great meal.
Our location
Historic Reynolds Cottage is just a short walk from the Woodend shopping centre and railway station. We are located at the corner of High Street and Owen Street, one block north of the Five Mile Creek and Visitor Information Centre.
Most of our guests arrive by car, but you can also travel to Woodend by V-line train and bus. Please let us know if you need a lift from the railway station.
Our accommodation
Reynolds Cottage offers plenty of comfortable accommodation - three bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining room, full bathroom and laundry. There is a queen size bed in the main bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom, and a single bed in the third bedroom which also provides a desk. You'll enjoy our hotel quality linen, fully serviced kitchen, laundry facilities and cozy fire.
We accept one night bookings except for public holidays and some special event weekends. Please note that there is a three night booking minimum for the Queen's Birthday (Woodend Winter Arts Festival) and Melbourne/Kyneton Cup Day weekends, and minimum stays for the Easter, Christmas and New Year holiday periods.
We value your business and are happy to answer your questions. Please ask about our discounts for longer stays.
