I reached out to you privately to find out what the maintenance was before responding to this because I'm unaware of an unscheduled maintenance issue but haven't heard from you! After your stay you have 14 days to write a review, I have no idea how you were able to write one 5 months later, so therefore I can't recall an issue! We do not do any maintenance on any cabins unless it's a serious issue that needs to be addressed after another guest had left or during a new guests stay! Anytime that happens we make sure its ok with the guest to attend the situation at hand, so therefore if it was a problem to fix the situation I wish you would have spoke up and told us no! If I recall correctly was this the screen door that wouldn't shut. If so I remember asking the husband and wife if it would be alright to fix it before it ripped out from the door frame due to wind! The husband and wife at the time were ok with me fixing it which didn't take long! I'm sorry if this inconvenienced you, my apologies!

Seriously? First of all the listing said there are cameras on the property, so therefore you shouldn't have stayed there if it was a problem! Second of all the cameras are there for how far out the property is! Thirdly I never listened to anything you guys did because I have better things to do with my life! I was alerted by one of the cameras when you and your buddies took a blow up doll and put it in front of the camera in which is very sickly and childish! The reason you gave me this review is because I called you on it the day you were checking out! I told you I didn't appreciate the sickness of putting a blow up doll in front of one of my cameras and talking vulgar about the person who owns the property it's pretty childish, I'm sure your Mom would be proud! I thought talking to you would of solved the situation but obviously it didn't! I would of never knew anything as to what was going on but you literally put it right in front of the camera to trigger the camera and started talking vulgar! I would never want you or your type of people as guests, so lesson learned! I should upload the video in my response but I wouldn't stoop that low to show what kind of guest you are! I tried handling it like an adult to talk to you 1 on 1 instead of giving you a bad review but I could see you're not mature enough because people who are mature enough don't do the things that you did!

I'm very sorry you feel this way! The listing clearly states REMOTE, RECOMMEND SUV/TRUCK, PRIMITIVE ROAD, so for you to drive a car is on you! The drive time depends on vehicle and driver! You never reached out to ask any questions and concerns on my listing! You booked and sent me this message, "Hello, we are coming to stay for a nice quiet break for our family. We keep to ourselves and really just want to enjoy the time with the four of us. Thank you" ! After that message I welcomed you and said I hope you have a great stay! At no point did you reach out with any concerns! I even went out of my way to make sure you had directions, explaining going to Clark Fork Idaho would be your best option due to being on pavement longer and dirt road less! Your response was Thank You! Still nothing about Silverwood! I still responded if you have any concerns or questions reach out to me! Still no questions or concerns from you and no mention about traveling in and out to Silverwood! So the day of your arrival you start heading up in a car, not a SUV OR A TRUCK LIKE THE LISTING RECOMMENDS! Then I get a long message the day after check in, with this in it, "We were unable to drive our car on the road due to its condition, which was not clearly stated in the property description. In fact, we could not even make it to the cabin. We had planned to make 8 trips to and from Silverwood and on our way home, but our car would not have been able to handle even one trip on that road. " So you didn't even go one trip to see how long it would take, and clearly again didn't listen to my recommendation to drive to Clark Fork then in to the mountains to the cabin! I really don't understand why you're blaming the listing when clearly you were given the proper information on the location! You not only didn't ask questions you clearly didn't do your research and now putting it on us! By you booking, reserved those days which doesn't allow others to book those days! Also going to Silverwood 8 times like stated in your message in 4 days knowing it's a minimum 1hr 30 min one way depending on vehicle and driver, doesn't sound like your message to me as to coming for a nice quiet stay! I'm sorry you didn't do your research and take any advice that was given by the listing and myself! Taking responsibility for not asking questions and for not researching travel time would have been appreciated verse putting the blame elsewhere! I'm Sorry for your own inconvenience!
