We stayed here while visiting Crater Lake. The setting was beautiful and it was relatively close to Crater Lake National Park. You are definitely paying for the location. The duplex was nothing special. We had to walk a short distance to our side of the duplex. There was no sidewalk and the ground was uneven - not great for two older adults carrying suitcases and coolers, etc. We could hear the conversations of the people in the other side of the duplex while sitting in the living room. The water has a lot of rust/iron which turns things reddish orange - the shower curtain, the tiles in the shower. We definitely enjoyed sitting by the river in the evening and watching a mother duck and 13 ducklings swimming down the river. The owner got us the check in information early - as soon as it was cleaned. It was an ok place - we expected more for the price.
Property manager had the best communication of any of the vacation property managers we’ve experienced!

It was a nice little property, but was not described very well. Kayaking was impossible because of the logs in the creek. Technically there is a tv, but it is not even hooked up to an antenna, so really no tv. The overall cleanliness was iffy. And when I asked the owner what there was to do in the area while I was there, the only thing she could come up with was kayaking. Almost 4 digits for two nights was a bit pricey for what I received. Plus I’m not sure why I had to pay a cleaning fee when I had to clean the microwave just to use it. I did report my concerns, but was not offered any compensation. The walls between the two units are very thin. I could even hear a sneeze. Would not recommend.

Not clean upon arrival. The tv has literally no service. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors sneeze.
We really like this property. We were centrally located to go to places we wanted to see . After sightseeing all day the view sitting by the little creek was great. We were concerned about there not being an oven but the toaster oven was large enough and efficient to cook our chicken thighs and bake fish.
We wanted to use the kayaks but ran out of time. Will use them on our next visit!
Was a bit concerned that the water (in the tub, several x’s) was a brownish color. Also, initially from the sink, it had an odor. We thought everything else about the place was very comfortable, convenient, and clean. Not sure what the water issue was
