Arinya Retreat is an architecturally eco-friendly designed home constructed of rammed earth. Nestled down an unsealed dirt track in the Hepburn Regional Park Daylesford set amongst a sincere private landscape.

The retreat is only a 10-minute drive from Daylesford and Hepburn Springs enabling our guests to truly immerse themselves in a health and wellbeing stay. Arinya is an ideal destination for a romantic interlude for two or a tranquil getaway with friends or family.

Compliment your stay with a In -house massage, a natural therapy, bathe in the jetted tub, spoil yourselves with an indulgent private dinner or take a stroll to one of the many nature walks, especially to the mineral spring area on the property.

We offer two king-size bedrooms, one queen bedroom with an extra king single bed, and one twin bedroom with an additional trundle bed sleeping up to 10 guests.

This property is stunning and Damien the host is fabulous! He gets back to you straight away with any questions or requests you have and gives very clear instructions on how to get there, etc. The house is beautifully designed, very clean & has lots of great spaces for relaxing & entertaining. We were there in August and the house w lovely and warm & very comfortable. The scenery is beautiful and lots of lovely wildlife around the property too. I fully recommend this house for your next trip away.

Amazing property. Beautiful area with lots of native wildlife around.The house was very cool. Stayed with my girlfriends for my 40th bday and it was perfect for the occasion. The first night we had some trouble with the heater being up too high and we couldn’t turn it off, but Damien came over the next day to set it at a lower temp for us. Bonus surprise was Puddy the cat, who liked to come visit.

What a beautiful place to stay and unwind on a girl's weekend! The house was beautifully decorated giving every space that warm and inviting feel, luxurious without being overdone. The grounds are beautiful with clever planting close to the deck encouraging animals and birds to come close. Kangaroos and their joeys, rosellas, bell birds and many others. Every bedroom had wonderful floor to ceiling windows with a picturesque scene to wake up to. The larger of the two lounge areas was set up around a stunning open fire-place with comfy couches that were just perfect for a glass of wine and a catch up on a wet afternoon! The kitchen and dining spaces were well designed and would equally work for a larger or smaller group. Our host Damien was there to greet us and show us around and had thoughtfully already set the fire up and spoilt us with a lovely bottle of pinot and box of local goodies! The smaller lounge area was still generous in proportions and perfect for the morning sun, a board game or a quiet read. While just 10 mins out of the heart of Daylesford, the drive through the forest to get there set the tone for this very tranquil setting. We loved it and will be back! Thank you Damien for all the little touches that made this a really special place to stay.

Relaxing setting

A beautiful property, clean and well set out. A shirt trip into town and easy access to amenities. Really loved waking up to the sound of wildlife and sitting on the balcony in the morning sun enjoying a coffee!

Great place to stay with a small group

We loved our stay at Arinya Retreat. My only regret is that we didn’t take advantage of being able to book a massage at the house. Well furnished house with great kitchen facilities. Could do with a couple of larger pots for cooking for a group of 6 or more. Would stay there again for sure.

Perfect weekend getaway. The property is tranquil and stunning. The pictures are gorgeous, in real life it’s even better. We enjoyed the quiet surrounds and had a beautiful stay. Highly recommend the in house massages. We will return.

A relaxing retreat

A delightful weekend away for a country getaway. The house is so clean and comfortable. It was so toasty warm too, we definitely took advantage of the open fire place. Loved watching all the wildlife and the peacefulness of the place. Batteries are well and truly recharged.

Beautiful retreat in a stunning country side setting. Close to Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. Wonderful host who even came to pick us up when we got lost on one of our bush walks. Highly recommend.

Wonderful!

Perfect place for a kid free girls getaway. Damien gave us a friendly welcome and then gave us complete privacy. The house was clean, very comfortable and we appreciated the hamper and wine! We took advantage of the fireplace and loved the space and tranquility. We will be back!

The pictures don’t do it justice, incredibly relaxing, and calm environment. Fantastic for a weekend away. Damien, the manager was incredibly helpful with suggesting places to eat and see, and also in home care, organizing spa treatments, and also preparing a fire for people who cannot start themselves. lol cannot wait to return!

Perfect escape and retreat

Just returned from a perfect 2-night getaway at this lovely retreat. The wood fire was absolutely divine and created such a cozy atmosphere. The spaces throughout the property were beautifully designed and perfectly suited our needs.We were so comfortable with our sewcation (yes we spend the entire weekend inside sewing) that we didn't even venture out to explore - the property was self catering so we had everything we wanted for a stress free sewing weekend away.Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in Daylesford. Thank you for a memorable stay!

My friend and had an amazing weekend away.……. The retreat was everything and more it was in perfect condition, comfy beds, yummy hamper with a great selection of books and records!! The views where picturesque.Damien also organised massages and facials for us!! HIGHTLY recommend…Believe it not & we will be back.
