This was a great location for our swimmers as they attended a week long swim meet at the North Shore Aquatics Complex. Communication with the host as great!
We rented the property as members of a wedding party. Wedding was held at sunken gardens. Location was perfect. Walking distance to multiple restaurants.
Wedding was downtown St. Pete. We booked the house for the parents, aunts and uncles. It was an excellent choice. Lots of room, comfy, and AC worked great (it was August).
Property was beautiful. Very clean and decorated impeccably. Parking is challenging but not impossible. Very nice for a big family, you cannot hear the upstairs and vice verse. Nice back patio to lounge and bbq! Can’t wait to come back!
I rented out this property for my birthday and had some friends with me. From check-in to check-out and everything in between it was an absolutely awesome experience! There was plenty of room with a cute outdoor patio in the back. Will definitely be coming back!

Complicated check in
Everything was beautiful until it was time to check in. Incredibly complicated, people ended up going home. Very frustrating.
Our group of 12 enjoyed renting this entire space for a girl's weekend. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great, and the living spaces were cozy and spacious. This house has wonderful walkability in to downtown, as well as to Vinoy Park. We would absolutely stay again!
Beautiful spacious property within walking distance to downtown spots and pier. Backyard space convenient for gatherings. Owners accessible to communicate with and easy to check in and out. Had a lovely weekend stay!
We rented top and bottom apartments over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location provided easy access to the variable interests of the group. The units themselves accommodated our group of seven with ease.
A large group with us stayed at this property and it was amazing! The communication from the owners was great and the place accommodated us all perfectly! Large property but we had our on privacy. We will definitely rent this again if we are ever in need of a place in st Pete!

We are local hosts who take pride in offering thoughtfully cared-for homes that are comfortable, clean, and easy to enjoy. We’ve designed The Banyan House specifically for families and groups, making sure everyone has space to relax while still being able to spend time together.
We live nearby and are available if you need anything during your stay, while always respecting your privacy. From the moment you book through checkout, our goal is to make your visit smooth, welcoming, and stress-free.
We love St. Petersburg and are happy to share local recommendations, from favorite coffee spots to restaurants, parks, and things to do around the city. Whether you’re visiting for a short getaway or a longer stay, we want you to feel at home and well taken care of.
Why they chose this property
We chose the Uptown neighborhood because it offers the best balance of charm, walkability, and proximity to everything that makes St. Petersburg special. Uptown is one of the city’s most established historic neighborhoods, known for its tree-lined streets, beautiful homes, and relaxed residential feel.
From the house, guests can walk to parks, coffee shops, and neighborhood dining, while still being just minutes from downtown, the waterfront, Central Avenue, and the city’s museums and cultural attractions. It feels peaceful and local, yet never isolated.
Uptown is especially well suited for families and groups because it is quiet, welcoming, and easy to navigate, making it a comfortable home base whether you are visiting for a few days or staying longer.
What makes this property unique
What makes this property truly unique is the combination of scale, flexibility, and location. It offers something rarely found in the Uptown neighborhood: multiple self-contained living spaces on one property, reserved entirely for a single group.
The layout allows guests to stay together while still enjoying private kitchens, living areas, and bedrooms, making it ideal for families, multi-generational travel, group trips, and hosted stays. This flexibility sets the property apart from standard single-home rentals.
In addition to its size and layout, the property features outdoor spaces that are uncommon for a walkable historic neighborhood, including a welcoming front porch and a large garden deck. These spaces allow guests to relax and gather outdoors while remaining close to the home.
Its Uptown location adds to its uniqueness. The property sits next to a neighborhood park with walking paths, a scenic pond, and a landmark banyan tree, creating a sense of openness and connection to green space that is rare so close to downtown.
Together, the multi-unit layout, outdoor gathering spaces, and central yet residential location make this property a one-of-a-kind option for group stays in St. Petersburg
