This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom1 bath ground floor rental with shared access to 50 feet of sandy beach on Schroon Lake. Short walk from house to beach. Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles. Within walking distance local restaurants and shopping. Although the property does not have a dock the local marina a short distance from the property. This property offers very relaxing and quiet getaway with beautiful views of Schroon Lake and mountains across the from the lake.

Thanks so much for your hospitality. We enjoyed staying at your place. We appreciated the readiness of the property (wood available for fire pit, coffee pods ready, plenty of towels to use, spare blankets for the chilly nights, etc.). The owners communicated well where everything was in the space and menus for local places. Thank you!

The property was great. The owners were super responsive when I had a hard time finding it. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were super comfortable. The private beach was amazing and the scenery is beautiful. Would 100% recommend this property.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay here! The home had everything that you need to enjoy a fun time at the lake. The location was wonderful. The home could use a solid dusting with cobwebs in a few areas, but for being a home around the lake, it was easy to look past. Thoughtful, welcome goodies. Great folks, great spot.

Convenient and well provisioned

Schroon Lake Stay

My wife and I looking to spend some time in Schroon Lake area and stayed at this location for 2 nights. I found it to be a perfect, comfortable, clean and reasonable accommodation. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, great location. Access to the beach is interesting a there's a path that bypasses the neighbors house closet to the water edge - but once there - the beach front is great with chairs and a great view. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Nice stay at the Lake

Very nice stay at Schroon Lake. Check in/out was easy. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to questions. Lovely spot at the lake shore. House was well appointed. Great spot to stay if want to get to High Peaks region quickly.

Very nice escape!

Though finding the property was a bit of a challenge as the road looks like a driveway and the street sign is completely blocked, we were so happy with the cute, tucked away cottage. The place was clean and inviting and we were easily able to walk the mile to town for dinner and drinks. So happy we stayed.

Lakeside bliss at The Hidden Treasure…

Easy booking and communication! The unit was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is part of a 4 unit building, but the other 3 units are being remodeled and were empty- so we had the property to ourselves- which was perfect! You are very close to neighbors, but we traveled late August and the neighbors did not seem to be visiting when we were. Nice rustic feel to the apartment. We enjoyed the enclosed/screened side porch. Given the proximity of neighbors- perhaps an optional curtain on the french doors to allow for night time privacy would be nice- but we had no problem as is overall! Bedding and sofa very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and even came with a few hostess gift treats. The little beach area is nice for evening, but we prefer the public beach for swimming as this side of the lake is mushy bottomed and very shallow. Perfect for kayak launch, though! We’ll be back for sure!!!

A hidden treasure for sure

We had the best long weekend. Cute, clean place. So close to town, loved having our own piece of beach and the lake. Host was so helpful and friendly (so were the neighbors). Will definitely be staying again!

Great Weekend!

Stayed here for the ADK Marathon Festival and had a great time in this well-equipped, clean place. Very conveniently located, walking distance to town and the beach. We all enjoyed spending the evening on the beach with a fire and got to see the festival's fireworks with a front-row view. Would be happy to stay here again!

Excellent schroon lake village property

This property has been Recently renovated and was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including keurig, with pods. 50 foot walk to the private beach and 1/2 mile walk to town. The beach front is sandy and shallow. The village has a couple restaurants, shops, grocery store and ice cream.
