Short getaway to Melbourne
The property is lovely, in a great location very close to the Blackburn train station and within walking distance of the local cafes and shops. Would definitely use again. The only downside for us, if there was one, was no air conditioning or fans in the bedrooms - coming from the tropics where we are used to both we found the warmer nights a little unpleasant, but not unbearable. The colder nights were magic though! Would stay here again.

Cosy and comfortable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, comfortable and warm. The location was perfect for our stay and the shops close by catered for all our needs. The undercover parking protected our car and gave us peace of mind.

Convenient and clean
The apartment provided everything we needed and was clean. Josef was helpful and welcoming. The curtains were very light and so with Australian summer time it did not allow any sleeping in as we were woken with the sun. Also as it the holiday season it was a shame that the gardener came around an was using his buzz cutter at 8am right outside our window. The kitchen had cooking facilities but no saucepan which was a shame. Overall good and this is the second time we have stayed at these apartments. TV in each room was great.

Certainly the best choice for those traveling with family. Believe me, if you are looking for value-for-money accommodation in Eastern Melbourne suburb, you need not try elsewhere. But I just hope the apartment can provide free wireless internet access.

Apartment 3 is located very close to Blackburn station and easy walking distance to shops and hire car facilities. The area is very quiet and there is on site parking too. I've stayed in both apartments 3 & 5 and each one has its advantages. Being older I prefer the ground floor apartment and would book it again. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. It is excellent to have a washing machine in the bathroom. Altogether the Blackburn apartments are excellent value for money.
