The house is perfectly located near the end of a quiet court and close to everything. You can walk to the back and front beaches, it's a 25-minute saunter into Sorrento and the Portsea hotel is 1km away.
The main open plan living area is light, bright and airy with floor to ceiling glass everywhere and great views out to the huge undercover entertaining area and tennis court. It's an entertainer’s delight, indoor outdoor living at its best, so much thought has gone into the design of this gorgeous home.
Upon entering the main living area, the handcrafted limestone gas log fireplace and stylish linen sofas invite you to relax and either snuggle up for winter, or chill out in summer with the TV’s Bluetooth Soundbar Audio System, which offers the opportunity to link to your own mobile device for quality sound.
With the tennis court, satellite TV (Foxtel), wifi, games and a table tennis table in the garage, it means you won't have to leave once you arrive - you won't want too!
There is a further cosy living area/rumpus room and TV on the ground floor so there is plenty of room for your own quiet time should you want it. There are also games, DVD's, Xbox and Wii for your entertainment.
The kitchen is outstanding with state of the art cook top, oven, dishwasher and enormous stone prep bench, offering addition seating for informal eating for 6. The 3 metre dining table comfortably seats 10 and overlooks the massive deck and tennis court.
Sliding doors across the entire rear of the home allow access to a large north facing undercover outdoor entertaining area that is totally private and perfect for a long lazy lunch, with a built-in main-line gas BBQ and bar fridge. A very relaxing spot.
There is an additional elevated seating area nestled into the landscaping at the rear of the property for viewing the tennis court, or to simply get away, again totally private.
Away from the living areas you will find the master bedroom which has a king size bed, ensuite, BIR and TV (with inbuilt DVD) for a late night movie or for those relaxing mornings in bed. All bathrooms have luxurious, high quality botanically active skin and hair product amenities for you to enjoy during your stay.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed with a study nook and BIR. The 3rd bedroom has a king size bed and BIR. The 4th bedroom has two single beds and a gorgeous freestanding robe. These bedrooms are serviced by a large bathroom with a free standing bath and large separate shower.
The 5th bedroom is downstairs near the main floor and has a set of single bunks with another free standing robe. There is a further bathroom on the main floor.
Please note that linen can be hired at an additional cost, however there are quality doonas and pillows on all beds, should you wish to bring your own. Woollen blankets are also provided for all beds, if you prefer them to doonas.
There is ducted refrigerated air conditioning and heating throughout the home. This property has everything you need for the most perfect getaway!
The double garage underneath the home has internal access and is also a kids 'hang out' space with table tennis, sofas and portable music system.
There is a separate laundry with dryer and front load washer, and further off street parking for 2 additional cars.
It's Portsea and it doesn't get much better than this!
Please note that Guest Reviews prior to 2018 are about the pre-renovated property, this was still fabulous but it's now outstanding!

There are surveillance cameras at the front and back of the property for your added security.
No pets allowed.
No schoolies and no groups of guests under 30. This property is ideal for multi-generational bookings and family groups.
While we have not had any issues with our lovely guests, we are required to make you aware of some local rules that apply to all short term rentals on the Mornington Peninsula, these include:
- No parties, gatherings or events.
- No loud or aggressive behaviour.
- Guests must only park onsite.
- Outdoor areas cannot be used between 11pm and 7am
- Neighbours have the right to call the property manager if they feel any of the rules are being broken or guests behaviour is impacting them, to which the property manager must respond immediately.
- Failure to comply with the local shire rules will result in termination of the rental agreement and guests will be required to leave immediately.
