In a word, PERFECT!!! This home far exceeded our expectations...cleanliness, location, space, amenities, and of course the decorations were absolutely beautiful. Arriving to this lovely place and ending each day here was one of the highlights to our vacation. If your going to Taos, this is the place to stay!
Such a beautifully decorated property, and a great location for bringing friends/family over for enjoying the NM outdoors. Amazing views, and a great spot to relax and cozy up after a long day!
Everything was wonderful about this house!. It was beautifully decorated and we had all we needed during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night’s rest every night! Our host was very attentive when we needed something and at the same time left us to just enjoy our time there. Hope to be able to stay again on our next visit to Taos!
Great Location!! Close to the main highway and to Taos!! Beautiful night skies!! The casita is well decorated all throughout and really presents a New Mexico vibe!! Great stay! Will stay again!!

Just a gem of a house! Super beautifully decorated, comfortable. Beautiful views and great location!
It was a beautiful stay. The house was so beautiful. It was like staying in a gallery. Every time you looked somewhere different you saw a new piece of art.Very nice and clean. Thank you for letting us stay there.
We stayed for our 3 days Taos ski trip. The place is excellent. Huge space, beautiful deco and very well furnished. We and our puppy Snowy had a fantastic time. We will definitely come back again! Thank you!
Interior design with character: Taos southwestern zen. We enjoyed our stay very much. A short drive into town through neighborhoods that we hadn't seen in previous visits.check in was wonderfully simple, communication was simple. Beds were great. Listing was accurate. 2 bathrooms but only 1 shower so we simply took turns. We would stay again.
We absolutely adored the unique style and decor of this home, very thoughtfully designed and cared for. For outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy staying just outside of the hustle & bustle of town, this home was perfectly situated. We enjoyed the privacy offered in this location, with the ability to read and enjoy our morning coffee on the deck before loading up and heading into the mountains to bike. The space easily accommodated 4 adults with outdoor gear, and offered us enough space to spread out as needed. We are already planning our return trip & would love to stay here again when we come back.
This is my 3rd time to Taos and this house is a Taos as it gets! The decor and art is AMAZING!! We loved everything about it! My only recommendation would be to get a softer mattress and thicker pillows in the Iris room (the pillows are pretty flat). There is only 1 shower but other then that this house is to die for!!
This has to be in the top three unique places we have ever stayed ... and we travel quite extensively. The entire place is literally a work of art. From the unbelievable interior panting to the hand carved doors and furnishings from around the world, there's always a surprise when you start to look around.
The views are outstanding and the location is close to town. There is a short part of the road that is gravel so just be aware of that.
To top it all off the owner is beyond nice and thoughtful. She left detailed handwritten notes and even called to make sure we were ok.
If you are in Taos, I would highly recommend this place, you will be in for a treat!
The unique details of this property are amazing. Great NM vibe - carvings, paintings, artwork. Kitchen had everything we needed; just don’t buy anything large to freeze. Nice, small outside balcony with a view. This property is upstairs which requires climbing a dozen or so steps.
On the downside, the TV reception was terrible and we couldn’t figure out how to stream (it was a Dish). Even changing the channels was difficult.
We appreciated the owner letting our dog roam around in the large backyard, although she wasn’t fond of the back stairs (slippery for her paws.)
One disturbing visual was an old paint can and some construction debris clearly visible from the balcony and one of the bedrooms. Maybe it’s OK in an unincorporated area to just have a “pile” but it’s pretty unsightly.
We had views of the mountains surrounding Taos out of every window. The most spectacular views out of kitchen and living room with a balcony view out of one bedroom, too. The owner has lovingly designed and put together a spectacular work of art inside of this home. We enjoyed a balcony out of the door where the outdoor stairs led to entry. The ground entry to the left as you look at the home shares a foyer and our quarters were through the door on the right. We did not use this room much but it had a beautiful view out to the courtyard in back and some workout equipment. The rest of the quarters were up the stairs that were to the left after entering. Jesse was very responsive when we could not get the TV to come on. It was just batteries needed for the remote and she was on top of it and had it working quickly. Visiting with her I learned that she designed this wonderful southwest interior and she share some of the fun secrets that some of the wall art held. The weather cooperated and gave us the week that Taos dreams are made of, even 2 snowfalls that quickly disappeared as the day warmed. However, my daughter enjoyed a great snowboarding day at Taos Ski Valley. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots etc. to enable you to have meals well prepared. Each day you will wake to discover new items in the decor that delight and inspire you. The painted walls are in themselves works of art! I could speak volumes but IYKYK. It has TAOS Spirit!
Amazingly decorated home. Every detail is so unique and you notice things every time you look somewhere. The pictures don't do it justice, much more beautiful in person.
Pros - Nice location with being close to town, yet pretty private. Most well equipped VRBO I have stayed in, wonderful layout and plenty of space. Views were amazing! Great communication.
Cons - the dirt road about took the suspension out of the rental car...very, very rough. Only one shower and terribly small. Lighting in the bedrooms & bath was not the best.
We did have an issue with flies in one of the bedrooms and it was pretty late on arrival day. Called the manager and they took care of it the next day when we returned to the home. Downfall was we couldn't use that bedroom the first night and someone had to sleep on the couch. Frustrating when you pay for bedrooms. But it didn't look like the home was freshened up prior to our arrival as it was dusty, old coffee grounds in the coffee pot, dead and live flies in bedroom and we did have to request more toilet paper as well. What was there was not stocked. If it was inspected prior to arrival, I don't know that any of those things would have been.
All in all it was a great place and we would stay again.
We loved our stay at this interesting spacious and comfortable home. It had fabulous views, being on the second floor. large kitchen and very comfy living room. Loved the antique ceiling fan and stove. The property is on a dead end dirt road.
negatives: The main bathroom has a bathtub but no shower. The shower in the second bathroom is a bit small.
positives: a wonderful central hangout. Huge closets. Washer and dryer (but no detergent).
Mostly we really liked this place.
We loved our stay at this unique artistic home. Beautiful Mountain Views and comfortable living space with plenty of cool art and design to keep you entertained. Conveniently located close to Taos in a rural setting on 1.5 acre lot. We enjoyed walking on the paths right outside of the place. Quit looking and just book it. You won’t be disappointed.
This house is so filled with art and antiques the listing pics don't capture all the beautiful details. The location is a quiet area close to but outside of Taos. Not really walkable to town. Every thing needed to prepare meals is in the kitchen. Bring coffee and laundry soap.
Beautiful home, very clean and cozy. Lots of ambience and very comfy beds. Would definitely stay again.

Taos stay
We enjoyed all the artistic decor in the house. Since the three of us are all 80 years old plus we were shocked when we arrived to find stairs to our living quarters. If that had been clear in the description we wouldn’t have taken the property. Also the bath/bedrooms were not en-suite and the one shower was not good. We really enjoyed the great views from the deck and loved looking at the mountains.
Met with the owner who was very friendly and inviting. The house was great, clean, organized, and had a great view of the mountains! Would recommend to anyone!
