A awesome location to stay. Beautiful views from front of cottage. Donna was great and made us feel very welcomed. We were a bit disappointed that there were no laundry facilities but Donna was very accommodating in offering to do our laundry. We would recommend staying here.

Selby Lakeside Cottage was just what we needed. It was well appointed, cosy and the view just dreamy.Donna was a great host, very helpful and even allowed an early check in, which gave us more time to enjoy the cottage.The fenced back yard was great for our two dogs and they loved having so much space to run around in.We will definitely be back!

Communication with Donna (host) was very good and quick to respond to any questions. Due to storm damage, the laundry was not available to use however Donna was prepared to handle any washing needs. The living area has a very comfortable lounge, big screen tv, air conditioning. With a cold change in the weather the gas fire heater came in handy for a cozy feel.The kitchen is large and well stocked with all crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and cleaning products supplied. Fabulous to have glad wrap, baking paper and foil supplied as well.The bed is comfortable and the linen and towels very good quality.Large back deck (not covered), overlooking large grassed fully fenced yard would be a shady area for late afternoon relaxing. The front covered verandah with fabulous views is a winner situated right on Lake Macquarie looking out to the west and the beautiful sunsets.Very quiet, much quieter than the nearby caravan park and close to all that Swansea has to offer.We will be back for another stay and I now know I can leave most of the “stuff” I usually travel with at home as it’s all supplied here.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and set in a beautiful location, with stunning sunsets to enjoy. It’s fantastic pet-friendly accommodation and we would highly recommend it.

Comfy bed. Great backyard and outdoor areas, fantastic location and close to everything. The evening sunset view is priceless. Nice quiet location. The house is well equiped with modern kitchen and lovely bathroom including a bathtub. Only downfall, no dishwasher.

I love Selby Lakeside Cottage. I have always liked Lakeside Drive as it's so peaceful and conveniently located. My dog had a wonderful time as the backyard is very dog friendly. This is the second time I have stayed there and hope to again.
