The accommodation was amazing, well presented and in a lovely environment. Our only suggestion would be letting guests know how close other residents houses are. Especially the sons being in direct sight. Another suggestion would be a sign on the letter box.

Thanks for your stay Paul. You had the worst heatwave with over 43 degrees and we are hearing your suggestion about downstairs air con. Usually upstairs AC is enough but obviously not enough on days of extreme temperatures. Thanks for your suggestion
Wishing you all a merry christmas
Amazing property Amazing HostsJust wished we had more days there

Thankyou for staying

The property is in a beautiful woodland, it’s a rustic but very well equipped barn with an amazing open plan living space, log burner and cosy sofas - and great views of the surround woods. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, the beds are super comfortable, and the over all vibe is wonderful. Our host was easily reachable and even dropped us off a load of fire wood so we could have a fire in the garden. We had kids in our group and they had an absolute blast playing in the garden and meeting Honey. We will be back to stay for sure, thank you so much! The only note I have is for those with a saloon or hatchback vehicle- the driveway might be a challenge!

Thankyou so much for your kind words. Its always lovely to know we have made people happy and comfortable. As for the road we do generally maintain but storms have done damage recently and we have plans for maintenance. My car is only small and I manage by going slowly.
Love to have you all back in the future
The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. We were able to feel host's delicate touches in everywhere. We had a very relaxing time with the beautiful scenery! Of course, host Gary and Jan are the best! We'll be back
Awesome secluded bush retreat. Peaceful in lush surroundings. Playing cards on the balcony was such a lovely experience with the birds singing nicely. Excellent amenities provided in kitchen (the flowers and chocolate was a lovely added touch). Jan and Garry are lovely hosts. The kangaroos were awesome to see so close as well.

Jan and Garry were amazing hosts who were there on call when we needed help. The house is beautiful and situated in a nice and peaceful setting. Would love to come back when there are no fire restrictions to roast some marshmallows on the fire pit!

A perfect bush getaway, yet close enough to great places which you can explore such as the Hunter wineries. This was the best find for us and we will definitely be coming back. The whole vibe of the house and its location was perfect. The owners were very quick to respond to any queries and extremely nice people. We were six adults and we all loved it!
