Annie was very welcoming. The gardens were awesome, pool brilliant, great kitchen for christmas lunch and the location was perfect. If you like wildlife, this is the place for you. There was an echidna on the deck one night, wallabies and chickens in the yard, birds going off everywhere. Great place.
Rosebank Farmhouse was the perfect location for our family holiday. Lots of different spaces to chill out and the kitchen was really well equipped. The beautiful piano and sound system were a nice surprise. We also loved having our dogs join us.
Our stay at Rosebank Farmhouse was amazing. The property was peaceful, with the house and amenities perfect for us to relax surrounded by the beautiful hinterland. Byron, beaches and shops were also nearby. Our stay exceeded our expectations and we hope to come back soon.
My family had a lovely relaxing stay in Rosebank. Annie was a great host, providing clear directions to the property and instructions on amenities. The house itself is a beautiful family home that made for a relaxed family retreat over Christmas. We very much enjoyed relaxing in the pool, cooking on the beautiful stove, and the beautiful bathhouse. The scenery also can't be beat! Recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.
Home from home' is a much over used claim, but not for Rosebank Farm, which truly lives up to it.
We spent a wonderful three festive weeks here, with three generations; enjoying every moment - especially the wonderful swimming pool, beautiful tropical garden's in a peaceful setting, with numerous different cosy spaces for entertaining and relaxing.
Ann and Mark are delightful hosts and we will definitely be back!
This property is just fabulous, it truly feels like a home away from home.
The photo's do not do it justice. We were so blown away discovering each part of the house and the external bathroom was our very favourite place!!!
Ann Marie is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and extremely accommodating, she is always a text away or short stroll up the hill in an emergency.
We would happily come back and stay in this beautiful home again and again!

Great farmhouse in a beautiful place
A really lovely renovated old farmhouse with a wonderful garden in one of the most beautiful spots in the Byron hinterland. Anne-Marie and Mark are great hosts and were really helpful during the booking process and our stay. The details given in the other reviews are accurate so there's no need to repeat them here. This is a very special property and we will definitely be back. If you don't totally unwind here after a couple of days then you're trying too hard. Very highly recommended.
This property is the perfect hinterland stay, great house with pool and lots of space around it for the kids & dog to play and run around but still close enough to go to one of the beautiful Byron Bay or surrounding beaches, visit locals towns/ markets or beautiful waterfalls. Ann-Marie is the loveliest welcoming host who had a meal prepared for us after a long trip and pantry/fridge stocked with basics; we absolutely loved it!
We had a wonderful holiday at Rosebank Farmhouse. Ann was so friendly and flexible and great with communication.
The house is large and lovely. There are beautiful verandas on every side where you can sit and stare out at the stunning views. Or you can cool off in the pool! There is everything you would ever need in the kitchen and pantry and the garden is a real highlight.
There are lovely drives and waterfalls to visit nearby, and it’s close enough to Bangalow and Byron for easy day trips to markets or the beach.
We will be back!
We stayed at Rosebank Farmhouse during the recent heavy rain and couldn't have had a better place to be holed up. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 adults amongst the lush gardens and wildlife like the many green frogs, local echidna, curious wallabies, and colourful birdlife. Everywhere you look from the relaxing decks that surround the house there are beautiful calming views. Ann is a very friendly and helpful host, and we highly recommend this property for your next quiet get-away.
This house was gorgeous, comfortable and the perfect size for our extended family group of 7 + baby. It's not your average holiday letting, you can tell it's someone's home, as there are interesting touches throughout and the kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and basics. The gardens were stunning, and the bath house and pool made the place feel luxurious. It's a great place for bird watchers too. Small touches like some little goodies on arrival and an outdoor firepit ready to go were the icing on the cake. Ann was a lovely attentive host.
Really nice chill place the pool is very relaxing to be around with the natural bush setting we all enjoyed our stay and the host is excellent nothing is too much trouble .
If you want to be relaxed it’s the place to go 😊

Excellent property
Fantastic experience. My son's loved the freedom of the privacy and the pool was refreshing. The decks all around the house were phenomenal to watch the sunrise/sunset from all directions.

Quiet, rural retreat in the Byron hills
Comfortable spacious house with extensive outdoor seating areas on the encircling verandahs, all with beautiful outlooks over the lush tropical gardens and surrounding forest and farmland, set high up in the Byron hinterland. This is the owner's home, not an anonymous holiday let, so it's full of interesting artifacts, paintings, books and extensive CD library, not to mention a collection of colourful dinosaurs. There's a pool, a BBQ, a laundry and an open bathroom with spa a step away from the main house which in addition to 4 bedrooms (the last one more suited to a single than a double) has two large sitting rooms, a big dining table, a large well equipped kitchen, a well stocked pantry with all the basics which the owner is happy for guests to use, and a newly renovated small bathroom with WC and shower. The house and the gardens are filled with flowers. It's very quiet, set well away from the road with a herd of curious cows the only on-lookers.

Beautiful place
Just stayed for 3 nights and 4 days in this beautiful place in the Hinterlands (West of Byron Bay). Situated near Minyon Falls, a 100 metre Waterfall located in the Nightcap National Park (sub-tropical rainforest great for bushwalkers and wildlife spotters) which is a must see while staying here. Lots of space for all the family- or share with friends - Tastefully furnished - lounge room and 1 bedroom with televisions & DVD players. Comfy beds - clean - BBQ on veranda next to inground pool. Privacy was no issue and was able to listen music while swimming ... Is a disabled friendly with wheelchair access and decking area leading from the bedroom patio doors, wheelchair accessible pool. It also has a beautiful wheelchair accessible shower. Definitely will be recommending this place to family, friends and as I work in the disability field to my participants.
