The quiet open beach is a three minute stroll away, and there is a shopping complex within two minutes walk from the unit, with full scale supermarket, trendy cafe, hair dressers and other essentials. The resort boasts two pools, a hot spa, comfy day lounge relaxing common area, award winning Thai restaurant, and an exotic wellness spa for massages and holiday pampering. The local suburb is a beautiful master planned suburb, with architectural covenants that bring great flair to its presentation. Covenants also exist so that only native flora may be planted, adding to the natural beauty of the surrounds. Being only 15 minutes drive to the Southern Gold Coast and its International airport, the same distance to well known hiking spots like Mt Warning, 40 minutes drive to the tourist mecca of Byron Bay, or 40 minutes drive in the opposite direction to the Gold Coast theme parks, makes this quiet beach side community the perfect in between rest spot from daily out and about explorations. If relaxing is more your aim, the unit is the most private in the resort, the long open white sandy beach is a sensational place to unwind, or wander 25 minutes walk along the flat board walk to upmarket restaurants of the Salt Precinct. Such a great location - the resort pools are incredible, easy walk to the beach and shops.
The unit is well appointed, with everything you might need. Lots of space for our family of 3, and super comfy beds.

We stayed here for 7 days and loved it. Great location with great beaches close by, very close to great restaurants and shops and the pool was amazing. Very clear instructions and easy to check in and out.

We had a lovely week away and would happily stay there again. Coles just over the road was very convenient and the rain shower was blissful. Michael was a great host
The room was a great location away from pool area very quiet. However a few minor things; master bathroom has spider Web with spiders near windows, TV remote had no batteries, the internet was v slow, netfix would buffer and freeze and drop out that was very annoying when you want to chill in evening. There were a few dead cockroaches in the room which should had been removed. I have pointed out only minor issues as overall the room was ok. Just that for the price I would not expect to have any of these issues.
In saying that we did enjoy the place and its pool. Really does do a great job in thinking you are in Bali. Thai restaurant was amazing and the staff very friendly. Regardless of my minor issues, I would stay there again as the location is perfect.

Location great for 2 week stay but unit is in need of updates
Michael was an excellent host and very accommodating with check-in/out. He was responsive and gave great recommendations for the area.
The location was excellent and had grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and gym right across the street within walking distance. The beach is a short stroll away and the walking path along the beach takes you right into the salt resort precinct (2km).
There were a couple things about the unit that we were not too fond about. The cleanliness of the unit was not up to our standards — couches and area rug are old and quite dirty, dishes were not clean, hair on bed sheets. These were things that in our opinion should be checked before each guest arrives. More thorough cleaning is definitely required.
In addition, we found the unit quite poorly appointed. There were only 2 bath towels and 2 toilet paper rolls, 1 tea towel, 2 packets of dishwasher soap, and 3 spare bags for the garbage bin for our 12 night stay. There were no beach towels in the unit at all.
As per other reviews, the view from the unit is not great at all. We didn’t have any issues with construction noise, however you really are just looking at tops of houses with a thin strip of ocean view quite far away.
All in all, Michael was a great host and if some changes to the unit furnishings and cleanliness were made then we might consider staying again due to our love for the location. Alternatively, I would consider other units that are more updated and perhaps that have a view of the pool / garden area.
The view shown in these photos is not accurate/current, and not the view you will see from the lounge/balcony/bedroom. Instead, it is more like you are staying in a costruction site, with scaffolding everywhere and half built McMansions. If I had seen accurate photos, I wld not have booked the room, or at least not paid this price. Alongside this, the coffee machine was not working and there was no replacement toilet rolls. The surrounding area felt empty and souless due to the pleasantville style identical buildings going up. We made the best of it, but I would definitely not book this room again. It was pretty disappointing.

Overall good. Good location. Very good restaurant in the complex. Main negative aspect was the noise from the big construction site with works starting at 7am next door.

Beautifully relaxing place
Great sea view unit away from noise of pool and restaurant. Hotel is lovely boutique sized with stunning pool. Across road from Coles, bakery and a few nice restaurant and five min walk to beach. We will definitely stay again.

Amazing Stay!
My friends and I had an amazing time while staying at the Santai Apartment. The owners were very lovely and maintained good communication leading up to our arrival. The apartment was very clean and provided good utilities. Perfect for a weekend away!
