Enjoyable 10acre property, easily accessed aswell as checking in and checking out procedure. Plenty to do and see. A home away from home. Relaxing, and very quiet. Great river frontage. Well away from the main road. Great for children. Adults also. Close to attractions and surrounding towns making this property the ideal base when day tripping. This was our second visit. We plan to visit again. Thanks for looking after us.

My family had a great stay during Easter 2021. The Homestead is a great place for an Easter hunt. The property is very relaxing, and quiet. Plenty to do and see. We enjoyed fishing and swimming in the river. As well as plenty of walks both on the property itself and locally in the town (Allansford) where the homestead is located. We also enjoyed a night at Premier Speedway. The Speedway is literally 2 minutes drive from the property. We had a fabulous time and plan to return in the not too distant future.

Thanks Marissa for your lovely review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. You are most welcome again to stay with us next time.
Very clean, quite location, warm beds and stand up fans provided for bedrooms when weather hot. Great Fire and plenty of wood for when weather turned cold. Able to dry clothes in front of fire very quickly.
Plenty of reading material for range of interests.
Boys found the treehouse and rope swing into river after advice from local plumber and spent 2 enjoyable afternoons playing with this.
Suggest another nonstick egg flip for kitchen , and more pegs for laundry.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Apart from a couple of issues, being, not able to lock a couple of external doors, the rope around the wood heater door wouldn't staycin placecmaking it hard to close door securely & dangerous when hot. We did contact management & they assured this would be looked into...
Minor things the girls picked up on was l, floors could have been cleaner & furniture dusted.
Overall, a beautiful residence that we thoroughly enjoyed staying in.
Thankyou!!!

The house is grand and beautiful, it keeps the cool and the heat. The view of the river is amazing. It accommodated 2 families well. Warnambool is close by with all its attractions. Allansford doesn't have mich in terms of eating out or walking tracks.

Perfect house for a rural retreat. Amazing setting with the river behind and nearby to the beach and towns for shops etc.
House was clean and well equipped. Don't recommend the sofa bed though, it makes for an uncomfortable nights sleep!
All the family loved it and had the best holiday, thanks to Rejuvenate for being helpful throughout.

This very spacious and comfortable house was perfect for a winter getaway. Beautiful views of the river and surrounding countryside. Log fire plus reverse cycle heating. So close to Warrnambool and great ocean road, yet very peaceful. We want to bring our extended family here for a family get-together.

Peace and tranquility at its best!
We spent our Christmas week at Hopkins River Homestead. It provided us with a beautiful venue to relax and enjoy the quiet life, yet Warrnambool was only a short drive away for coffee shops, restaurants etc. We would highly recommend this spacious property for family gatherings, especially if you need to "recharge the batteries"! A wonderful week was had by all!

Lovely Homestead with river view
A very spacious homestead with a great view down to the river. Our trainspotter son loved the glimpses of the v-line train across the valley. Lots of room for a large family and both formal and informal living areas for kids to spread out and mum and dad to have some quiet reading time too. The cows over the fence and the ropes at the swimming spot 100m up river added to the charm. It is about 10 mins drive to the centre of Warrnambool or the patrolled beach.

Absolutely Beautiful
We had the most wonderful holiday staying in this immaculate homestead. We have 4 girls and they just loved the house and the beautiful surroundings. Lots of wildlife to see and just extremely peaceful. It was like our own little oasis to come back to each day after our sightseeing. The whole district was beautiful with lots of fun things to do and interesting sights. I would thoroughly recommend this property. Our girls wanted us to buy it so we could go there whenever we liked!!
